Bsmart Hotel Arbon ★★★
"Uncomplicated check-in at the automation. Free deep garage, which is super! Super view of the sea! Nice staff when you see it. Nothing to suspend."
Hotel de Charme Römerhof ★★★
"This hotel was pre-booked for us by our bike tour company. It was a disappointment. There was no receptionist when we arrived after a long day of biking along Lake Konstanz. When we called, the person on the other end did not speak any of the four languages I speak and only instructed us in German to enter a code, access a key, play switcheroo to get a second key to our room on the third floor of a building with no elevator or air conditioning. The room was sparse and minimally decorated with old simple furnishings. The hallways wreaked of cheap air freshener odor that was supposed to mask other odors. The breakfast was surprisingly good and served on a small terrace overlooking the parking but separated by a row of hedges. The one server who was there actually yelled at my husband "I'm coming" when we tried to get her attention for more coffee. I would not stay here again."
Hotel Müllers Self-Check-IN ★★
"Really basic hotel but perfect for our needs. I went with my 11 year old daughter and used as a base for travel to Vaduz and then St Gallen for the Women's Euros match between England and Wales. Check In was indeed "self" and was a bit tricky as the computer didn't recognise my booking reference, but eventually got checked in. Room and hotel as a whole was really clean, bathroom modern and functional. Was a nice twin room with a desk and sitting area. Very light room, and I know a previous review mentioned the bell ringing in a negative light, but I thought this was a lovely quirk of the hotel. So well located - minutes from the lake and also close to the town centre with nice restaurants and bakeries. Two minor criticisms - I booked it on *******, and their first picture is of a wonderful swimming pool with slides etc. I thought this meant the hotel had a pool, but actually it was the local pool, which was amazing, but felt slightly misled. Parking was a bit of a pain - plenty close by, but had to pay, and wasn't really sure how long I could leave car there for without moving it. Arbon is a beautiful town, and well worth a visit!"
Hotel Rotes Kreuz ★★
Hotel Restaurant Seegarten ★★★
"From A to Z everything has been voted. A hearty reception, the rooms are conveniently furnished and with balcony. A very professional service and an excellent kitchen we were allowed to enjoy at two evenings in the garden. Also breakfast was rich and eggs were available on order. A closed bicycle cellar with enough electricity connections had it also. We're coming back!"
