Myself and Michelle visit the Galley on a fairly regular basis, normally for long weekends, for our birthdays and to see the new year in. This April was perfect as always. Staff were very accommodating and welcoming. The food, as always, was out of this world. We ate in for all our stay, both breakfast and evening meal. The area and local are beautiful and ideal for exploring the area, such as Oban, Kilmartin, Esdale (wheel barrow island). Excellent place and team. I hope to see you again soon.

Beautiful location, gorgeous hotel, very friendly staff, great food, excellent value for money and an overall very friendly vibe. Special mention to the chef who went above and beyond to feed me and my kids after we arrived much later than expected with very hungry bellies. A total lifesaver and very much appreciated.

Having had many hotel breakfasts these have to be the best yet! The steak pie was also one of the best I've eaten anywhere. As well as the chef, the waiter / receptionist could not have been more helpful. I would gladly go back. Ardfen is a beautiful corner of Argyll.

Booked a Hogmanay experience for over 11 of us. Staff were great and food was nice, location great. However it turned out to be a MASSIVE LET DOWN, the band never showed up for the Hogmanay, Landlord never offered anything in way of compensation or allowing us to cancel it, the WHOLE EXPERIENCE was for the family and friends to see and enjoy this occasion. Said he would contact us as he left on the day we were checking out, and never been in touch to offer anything etc. Consumer Act and customer satisfaction means nothing to him, MASSIVE LET DOWN.

My husband and I have just spent two nights at The Galley of Lorne Inn and had an amazing time. The location of the inn is beautiful and the staff were very welcoming to us and our miniature schnauzer Sophie . Breakfast was included and the menu was extensive. We both thoroughly enjoyed the breakfast on both days. Our plan was only to have dinner on the first night but opted to eat at the inn on the second night as we had both enjoyed it so much . The Inn is in a beautiful part of Scotland and is ideally placed for exploring the area.

A great location to stay and not far off the main road in the lovely Ardfern village setting. There has been an Inn here since the 17th Century. The team are very welcoming and the evening meal menu extensive nt to mention the range of beer and spirits. Very comfortable rooms and a large breakfast is included in the room price which sets you up for the day. Sign up for their Newsletters and you get advance notice of their pow season discounts which can offer significnat reductions.

Yet another visit to the Galley, we have been visiting this Inn for over 30 years and keep coming back to our “ holiday home “ It was lovely to see Robert back and along with Andrew we were well looked after. We had an amazing meal on both nights of our stay and I have to say the food on our last few visits has been outstanding compliments to the wonderful chef. They have an extensive new breakfast menu with around 20 choices you could never complain re lack of choice infact it is difficult to decide. Once again we were sad to leave but will hopefully be back soon.
