Have been visiting argassi for 25 years and have stayed at the Katerina many times but this year is last time we will stay there, had issues last year with room not being cleaned and toilet bin not emptied for several days despite informing reception , room next door was also being missed as we had friends staying there, also as we had been shown safe they demanded we pay for it ( no intention to use there room safes as easily opened with a quick google for master code) did rebook for this year and had more issues this time in hotel which claims to be 4 star but is a long way from 4 star with standards and condition but your paying the 4 star tax which is a cash only charge, no hot water for several days as they by there own admission had turned off the electric water heating system and were relying on solar ( it was rainy and cloudy with limited sun and there solar is a limited number of tanks) , aircon didn’t work properly and was switched off for first few days dispite being free and included in room charge ,rooms in poor condition with holes and bodged repairs were bits had fell off in bathroom previously and not very clean, reported issues to reception who appeared to do zero , on 3 rd time of asking got a rude response from owners daughter who was aggressive and the got argumentative accusing me of lieing on a Facebook post about the issues, on last day after checking out wife was waiting for me to fetch a car to get luggage , when manager came out and said Katerina wanted to see us, great thought maybe an apology ( first rule of hospitality customer is alway correct) but nope it was a rude request to not post negative reviews of her hotel , no apology to a long term visitor who has used the kp many times , many regular stayers are also now not using this hotel due to issues and rudeness of management and some staff
