Mouikis Hotel Kefalonia ★★★
"The hotel has a great location, not far from the beach, and plenty of restaurants nearby. There's a small supermarket to the right of the hotel entrance where you can buy yogurt and other similar items. Behind the hotel is a commercial street where you can shop, but the shop owners are quite casual, and some close very early. The room has a small balcony, not too big or too small. The only drawback is the poorly designed bathroom; the shower is too small, and the toilet paper isn't even next to the toilet! You can arrange airport or ferry pick-up through the hotel on Ctrip, but this will incur an additional fee."
Thalassa Boutique Hotel - Adults Only ★★★★
"Beautiful hotel in a very scenic location. The facilities are excellent and so was the breakfast. Very friendly staff as well."
Liberatos Village ★★★
"Stayed in July after a problem.with our original booked hotel. Overall really enjoyed our 2 weeks here. Pros Super comfy sunbeds and always some available. Pool was lovely and very clean View from room was fabulous Room while basic was large and clean Most staff were lovely and very helpful. Cons Bar prices every expensive While we didn't sample the breakfast. It looked very expensive at 15 euros for what was on offer. Hotel just 2 minutes walk away were charging 8 euro for a full delicious breakfast. The hill. Wow!! that was some hill. The biggest issue we found was the extremely rude member of staff who we were told was the manager. You won't get the the friendly Greek welcome and hospitality that we found from the rest of the staff and in the resort from this person."
Lassi Hotel ★★★
"Just returned from a 2 week stay at the Lassi Hotel (bed and breakfast). The hotel and grounds are great, great size pool with plenty of sunbeds and (surprisingly) no wars to get one. There is not evening meals available here and limited bar snack menu during the day. Breakfast each morning was great, plenty of choice to mix it up each morning. Rooms are basic but clean and tidy with clean sheets/towels every other day- extra cost for air con, safety deposit and fridge. All staff are wonderful, supper helpful and friendly- they make the stay more pleasurable. Only thing regarding location is the hill into the town of Lassi, it is steep (approx 200m) and if you’re not as nifty on your feet or feel the heat- it’s a real struggle. There is a back route through the hotel grounds that staggers the climb up but still tricky if you’re not sure of foot. Of course you can get a taxi if needed- staff are more than happy to help with this. We rented a car for a few days- totally worth it and also, plenty of parking at the hotel as they have a good size car park!! Overall we had a lovely time- close to different beaches and coves (great for snorkelling), Lassi itself has plenty of restaurants to choose from and Argostoli is a short taxi/bus ride away- definitely recommend to see the turtles!! Hope to return to Kefalonia one day!! 🇬🇷"
Princess Hotel ★★★
"Beautiful, friendly hotel. We stayed in a deluxe room which had everything you needed including towelling bathrobes. Room was cleaned every day. Would return in a heartbeat."
Kefalonia Grand ★★★★
"Nice staff in perfect location. Very good brakfast. Position very nice."
Topos Suites ★★★★
"This place was perfect in every way possible. From the beach towels, down to the soft slippers. Everything was amazing quality, including the bathroom amenities. Katerina & Spyros were available if you ever needed anything. Full kitchen amenities, and cold still & sparkling water waiting for you on arrival. Walking distance to restaurants, with a nice view of the sunset."
Alley Boutique Hotel and Spa ★★★★
"True, not every bedroom comes with a glorious view. Mine faced a concrete wall! But it was well appointed with the best Greek mattress I have ever slept on. There is no lift to the first floor, which was a pain for me, with age and disabilities. I have to say here that the staff team was amazing. Dealt with my luggage like professionals. Not patronising or demeaning to me in any way. I managed the stairs and took my own time. The building appears to have served a range of functions. It has been tastefully renovated. Breakfast was great! Plenty of choices . Staff asked people if they wanted more, before service ended. The single room did not have a balcony, nor would it have been practical to build one. I will return for the staff alone. It’s not easy to travel alone with disability, and I was treated with respect and dignity! That alone makes the Alley experience priceless!"
Aenos Hotel ★★★★
"First, I would like to give a very positive assessment of RECEPTIONIST ANA at Aenos Hotel, she is an excellent professional who welcomed my husband and me with a lot of dedication and professionalism. Aenos Excellent hotel! Location, structure, room, breakfast, and there was even a welcome drink when we arrived. I recommend!"

"Beautiful place with lovely food. Views from the pool bar are amazing. The staff really make this place special. Very clean. Feeding the few visiting cats is frowned upon, there is no need as food is available nearby. Being up on a hill side, thankfully the cats do an amazing job of keeping undesirables at bay. Please note, this is a rewrite of an original review that was left partially written in my account. To all tripadvisor users, if you originally linked your account with FB and that account gets hacked you must change login and passwords for all accounts! I didn't and subsequently had my tripadvisor account hacked this week. My partially written review was amended and some unsavoury comments added,my primary email was changed so I had no notification of the review being posted until I was confronted by the owner. When I opened my tripadvisor account and read the review I was shocked at the comments added ! I was able to delete the review and have secured my account. Do not leave partially written reviews in your account as these can be easily edited and submitted. I have never written a negative review as I prefer to deal with anything negative face to face Keep your account secure, check your account regularly and change your username and passwords if you find anything suspicious. Tripadvisor have now removed the Link Account to FB option so I imagine this has happened to lots of people ."

"Wonderful wonderful location and stay. Katya and all the staff of this immaculate family hotel went out of their way to cater to my requests eg for a late checkout of tho leave luggage or for a room with an extra bed with a kindm smile. Views from the balcony room are unsurpassed. No noise as it's double glazed. White Marble through out. Modern touches. Just perfect. Thank you Katya, pappa, Dina, Helen."
Dionysos Village Resort
"Great views and very clean complex, breakfast very good and plenty of choice enough to keep you going until lunch, plenty of sunbeds so no need to rush to put towels down, only problem is the pool bar the barman during day is useless seems to charge what he likes a different price for same drinks on three occasions when challenged denied charging for cheapest then in the evening barman again charged a different price(cheapest price mind you )the hill isn’t as bad as some make out a ten minute walk down and a good 15 mile minute walk back or €8 for a taxi"
Argostoli Essence Suites
"A little gem in the heart of Argostoli. Set just a couple of streets back from the main shopping area this lovely modern hotel is a great find. The rooms are clean modern and comfortable. And town is a two minute stroll away. I was very impressed with the hotel it was a little bit of luxury for the start of our holiday. Lovely toiletries for you in the bathroom which I have to say was stunning. Beds very comfy.a small balcony over looking the town mountains and bay. And breakfast was just wow! Fresh delicious and plentiful!"
The Twelve Suites Collection
"Unbelievable! A real treat! Super new and updated. We got that apartment experience for sure. Close to everything! Plenty of parking! Unbelievable view! Athena at the front desk was an angel. She treated us like family and is very knowledgeable! Bravo! "
