Altura Hotel

Just back from a week's stay at the Altura Hotel 19-26 May and wanted to write this review. I award this hotel 5 *. * For the bar staff, always smiling 😊 * For the cleaners who cleaned our room everyday * For the animation team, Jack and Danny, two fabulous guys. * For the management and reception team who acknowledged us everyday * For the chef who spoke to us everyday. Your pork joint, spare ribs and gravy were exceptional! To all those who moaned about the food, you are in a foreign country, GREECE, don't expect the food to be the same as ENGLAND. A MASSIVE thank you to your Hotel and Team, you were fabulous. Just one little complaint, the beer was a little unpalatable. This is only a 3* hotel at affordable prices, if you want TUI platinum spend some more money. Jackie and Stan.

Hotel Altura was as expected for a 3 star hotel all inclusive trip. Staff including the manager Suzanne were welcoming and friendly and quickly responded when there were any issues reported such as a loose board on a walk way one day. Repaired within 5 minutes by maintainence. Clean rooms and pool areas with a good selection of choice for main meals. Snack options were a little limited and repetitive but good to have available if wanted. The staff worked well with our TUI rep who was super supportive and we would go back again

Staff was horrible swearing at me and my family .When I walked in to the room with me and my family it smelled of pooand smoke and puke they didn’t move us .My son has special needs and they were rude to him food was all right but a bit bad the the man who was doing the pork was the kindest staff and the Bar man

Absolute terrible, the food is disgusting with not much choice, we paid all exclusive and end up paying/eating out every night. Some staff are rude, beds are like sleeping on concrete.Shower dribbles out.Would not recommend this hotel to anyone.

Good little very clean hotel. Great location, friendly staff & good value for money. Didn’t pay for Ritz so didn’t expect it but was pleasantly surprised. Made some great friends, never struggled for sunbed in 10 days. Would recommend this hotel for great price. Down side only 2 coat hangers in our room & lift broke but ha ho xx

Pleasant stay here at Altura, this was a last minute holiday for my partner and our two small children, Basic but comfortable rooms, beds slightly hard but sleepable, (no complimentary shampoos/shower gel so remember you own) Lovely cocktails from the bar, served with a smile :) Personally I didn’t struggle with the food as I’m not fussy, but my partner did as he’s not very adventurous with food. Location is perfect, lovely little town right next to the hotel. Staff are lovely and very attentive. Never struggled for a bed around the pool was lots of available loungers. The pool is very cold but refreshing to cool down after sunbathing. Only downside is there isn’t much entertainment of an evening but plenty going on down in the town. I think we’d come back again! Obviously if you go expecting anything more than 3 star then you’ll be disappointed, but for us this was a great stay! a clean and tidy hotel. Overal very good pleased with our stay. Thank you to the staff at Altura for having us.
