"Lee was very helpful in arranging a ground floor room for us at short notice. On arrival we were welcomed warmly & offered a free beer/cider/wine. Complimentary bottles of water were supplied in the room fridge. Bed was quite comfortable & the room was furnished with recycled timber furniture which was a nice change from the generic motel room design. The room also had a lounge & a table & chairs. Location was perfect for our needs, being next door to the bowling club & close to shops as well. Will definitely be back."

"My husband and I just had 1 night at sandstock. The rooms were so clean and inviting. The bed was comfortable, and the sheets were amazing, we had plenty of comfy pillows too. The shower was great, and the bathroom was so clean. Actually, the whole room was just perfect for us. We ordered cooked breakfast, and we were not disappointed. Parking was numbered to your room was an added bonus. The bowling club was straight across the road. I would recommend staying here the owners are very friendly and happy. We enjoyed our stay that we booked another night on our return journey. Thank you, Robyn and hubby,"

"Friendly staff and a good basic hotel. We got the budget room and were a bit taken aback by just how small the room was, but it had everything you need and as we were out and about most of the time it didn’t really matter. The only thing I really didn’t like was that the tv is awkwardly positioned in the corner on a rather rickety pull-out shelf - the pull-out shelf was a good idea to make it more accessible, but needs to be fixed up to pull out further and be more robust. Anyway not a deal breaker."
