Too basic for a “boutique hotel”. Missing basic things inside the tiny room. King bed was actually 2 small beds put together. Not comfortable al all. It’s ok for the price but really overrated.

An amazing experience ! Spectacular location and so sweet people from the Owner Vanessa and the whole staff specially Arrieta and Lucas the concierges, cleanning crew and Julia, massage therapist at the beautiful spa. Much Gratitude and love to all of them!!! Definitely I will come back and spread the word.

Paraíso Ecológico Pousada & SPA is an amazing place to stay! The gardens in front of the rooms are beautiful and well maintained. I could hear the birds as I rested in a hammock. I got amazing massagem, by Julia. This is a quiet place and yet just walking distance from Mucugê Street. Great staff, delicious breakfast! I will definitely return!

Lovely gardens. Nice spacious rooms. Tasty breakfast and really nicely presented !! For me I just felt uncomfortable around the staff. Apart from one nice girl at reception, the rest of them didn't come across all that friendly or welcoming. It's interesting because I read a review on TripAdvisor from a guest who had a similar experience. The owners just walk past you without even saying hello (this I felt was extremely inpolite) and I found myself saying good morning or good evening to the staff never the other way around. I think the owners need to rethink their approach here. Not to even acknowledge your guests is not very nice.

We did not actually stay here (we stayed at Kuala which is allegedly the best in the area, it’s not); every single day we escaped our hotel to instead come here. The spa is so so lovely; Sandra we are convinced is an otherworldly fairy with hands that certainly have magic powers - being spa junkies, we can confidently say she is one of the best masseuses one can hope to find. This hotel is run by an owner that is fluent in English and is quick to offer great recommendations as it comes to dinner spots or entertainment in the area; she is super highly energy, charming, lovely and an absolute pleasure to chat up. After hearing my woes about not being able to get any vegan food in the area and my hotel not accommodating our food restrictions, she first suggested what turned out to be an amazing restaurant for dinner that would surely have something for us and then invited us for breakfast the next morning which turned out to be a vegan feast. The chef even made the traditional pão de queijo (cheesy bread) vegan edition. The amount of care taken in running this establishment is astounding; the personal touch is something rarely found these days which is why it was so special to stumble upon it here. I would highly recommend staying here. Also worth mentioning- best caipirinhas I’ve had in my 2 weeks in Brazil were whipped up at this pool bar. Overall 10/10. Thank you for having us and giving us some much needed good vibes in what was otherwise a very difficult holiday. 🤍

Lugar incrível com fácil acesso para o centro (Rua Mucugê). Fomos muito bem recepcionados pela Vanessa, o que tornou nossa experiência ainda mais positiva. O quarto é aconchegante e muito limpo. O café da manhã a la carte tem muitas opções e a comida é fresca e saborosa, dá para sentir que tudo foi preparado com muito carinho. Passamos apenas o final de semana mas, com certeza, voltaremos em outra oportunidade e indicaremos a amigos e familiares quando vierem a Arraial.
