"The Arras Ibis Styles was the last hotel on our driving 'Tour de France' during May, we stopped at hotel/Logis in Normandy, Angers, Bordeaux, Narbonne, Lyon and Dijon, my wife and I both agreed that the Arras Ibis Styles hotel is perfect, its style, decor, public areas are superb, breakfast choice and service were perfect, however what makes the hotel perfect is the staff, all staff were excellent but the lady receptionist who checked us in arrived back at work while we had an early breakfast with a big smile on her face, this speaks volumes to us, please pass on thanks to all staff"

"The hotel is in an excellent location, located next to the main street of the city, a few minutes walk to the old town square, there are many shops and restaurants around, and it is very convenient to travel and eat. The hotel itself is a historic building, the lobby and restaurant retain a strong classical style, the overall atmosphere is elegant and local. The room size is acceptable, but not equipped with air conditioning, it will look a little stuffy in summer or when the temperature is high. The breakfast is rich in variety, and there are many hot and cold meals to choose from, which can meet the needs of different tastes."

"The hotel is easy to find, it is located right on one of the city's central squares. Two buildings behind each other with a wonderful interior courtyard.. My room was located in the second building, so noise from the square was not heard at all (right on the square was a beer festival). N the room is clean, very good lighting. You can use a good stationary phenomenon and turn on the heater in the bathroom. But as in many old hotels, the trouble with hearing is as if opening your door and the water flows in your bathroom"

"I have stayed at the Moderne quite a few times while visiting the WW1 sites and associated towns around Arras or just passing through and was really sad when it had to close for renovation following the fire. Great to see its back up and running again and took the opportunity to have a night there on the way home from a stay south west. Its back to how it should be, rooms and reception nice and clean, reception and staff very friendly and breakfast decent (all hotel breakfasts are a bit pricey now, so this was no different to others) Location is great for visiting Arras, no more than a 5 minute walk to the main squares, churches and belfry and more restaurants and cafes than you would need for a few nights stay. It's also a 25 minute walk to the Carriere Wellington which is well worth a visit. Parking outside the hotel is easy, if on a motorbike like me you can park on the square right outside and chain the bike to the metal posts, there is a "Motos" spot as well, enough for 3 touring bikes to fit in. Overall glad to be back there and not on the ring road hotels and looking forward to a return sooner than later."
