"I initially thought the reviews would be great, and I was really looking forward to staying here. However, I was disappointed to find myself completely ignored. Later, when someone came and I tried to confirm, they were incredibly unfriendly. Be aware that there are many stairs here. Actually, these things wouldn't have affected my review. It was just that on a cold day, the heated mattress pad was misplaced. I had to redo the bed myself, and finally, it was warm again."

"A Very Good and clean motel that is an easy ten-minutes walk to Arrowtown. The room was clean and well presented with the heating on when I arrived.  The staff are friendly and helpful.  Overall a quiet location in the middle of a residential area.  My room had a small fridge and a kitchenette with a kettle, cook-top, toaster and microwave with sufficient items to cook and serve simple meals.  They also provide a small bottle of milk everyday.  The bed has an electric blanket that works well. There is also a good Airconditioning unit.  Wifi works ok in the reception area and outside the room, but sometimes weak in the room. They also provide a guest laundry on a payment basis.  I visited in the winter and it was a nice stay.  Overall a somewhat above average experience with above average staff."
