"Spacious, peaceful, and spotlessly clean, this place was a gem! Rebecca was wonderful and made us feel completely at home. Our family room was perfect, with plenty of space and a calm atmosphere. Waking up to birdsong in the morning was magical, and the grounds were beautifully kept. We made a last-minute request for dinner, and the food was absolutely lovely, it truly felt like a home away from home. Highly recommend!"

Would be too quiet if guest is of the party type, or of you repeatedly need to get to the city center in a hurry, but it's ideal ideal for R and R. Dinner menu is somewhat small but very understandable for a boutique hotel. Good attention to detail and personal service.A wonderful experience with wonderful staff."

"My brother and I had perfect 2 days in Shamba Hostel. We were the only guest in the entire Hostel but breakfast and dinner were prepared with so much love and it was very tasty...thank you for these perfect dinners. Rooms were very clean with clean bathrooms on suite. No luxury at all, but everything there what you need. The host, his wife and the rest of the staff were very kind and friendly. They also took us for a short stroll through the nearby village. If I ever come to Arusha again, I will stay here. Thank you for an unforgettable stay."

"We had an very very plesant stay. We came from the airport and got a welcome drink that was very good. We had some local beers at the fireplace and enjoyed our first evening in Tanzania. Our host rebecca was very sweet and also the girl that brought our drinks (forget her name) Our breakfeast was very good and a lot of choices. We want to thank everybody for the amazing stay. "If you are looking for a comfortable, budget-friendly resort feel in Arusha, Masailand Safari & Lodge is a fantastic choice. The highlight of this property is the immense kindness of the team and the peaceful, relaxed atmosphere. The cottage-style setup gives it a great natural vibe, and the rooms are large with fantastic private balconies overlooking the valley and Mount Meru. The hotel is a bit older and has a rustic feel, but everything functions beautifully, and the Wi-Fi is strong. It's located just a short drive from the main road in the Sakina neighborhood, which keeps it wonderfully quiet at night. Terrific food, excellent pool, and an overall great launchpad for exploring northern Tanzania."

"tayed here with my family on Day 2 of our Safari Adventure. Started off good, the staff was friendly and kind. Then while we are at dinner (for 1 hour) my Villa and a neighboring family’s Villa were broken into. An employee stole our professional camera from inside our locked Villa! We felt so unsafe and scared after this. Now that we left Tanzania the managers are refusing to accept fault, refusing to compensate us for the camera, and refusing to apologize. We paid so much money to stay here for what should have been an incredible experience and it was absolutely ruined. The General Manager Syed didn’t come greet us to apologize or anything. I had to go find him and get the police involved. I spent all that money to feel safe in a protected facility and instead we were robbed! Don’t stay here."
