"I wanted to go to Takeda Castle, famous as the castle in the sky, so I searched for a nearby hotel and found "Takeda Castle Town Hotel EN". In conclusion, it was a fairly expensive hotel, but it was a very nice hotel that left a high level of satisfaction. This hotel was renovated from a building that was originally a sake brewery called "Kimura Sake Brewery". There are several buildings, each of which is the front desk and its surrounding area, a restaurant, a lounge, and guest rooms. Our room was the smallest (?) room, but from the roof of the restaurant building you could see Takeda Castle (lit up at night). For dinner, we had a full course French meal at the restaurant, and the food was also wonderful. We arrived at the hotel at 2:30 pm. We left our bags before checking in, and from here we climbed the trailhead behind the station to Takeda Castle. On the way back, we took the course that descended from the Omotemai Shrine trailhead and returned to the hotel in about two hours."

"Thanks to the navigation system, I arrived at the inn without getting lost. It's a guesthouse converted from a large, traditional Japanese house. The room was clean and in a traditional Japanese style, perfectly cleaned, and very comfortable. The facilities were modern and well-maintained, and the overall space was spacious and relaxing. My goal was to view Takeda Castle from Ritsunkyo Gorge, so I chose this reasonably priced guesthouse with dinner and breakfast included. The service was excellent. The landlady's explanations were kind, and I arrived in about 15 minutes without getting lost and was able to climb to the summit. The hospitality was homey, and I was able to relax during my stay. The local sake was also delicious. Unfortunately, it was too cold, so the sea of clouds didn't form, and I couldn't see the fantastic view. If I have the opportunity, I would like to try again when I stay at this guesthouse."

Business Hotel Tetuya ★★
"I had a booking at this hotel for 14th August, but unfortunately my wife was unwell and we could not travel. I requested cancellation in advance, but the hotel refused to accept it. Even though I explained it was a medical emergency, the staff were not understanding or flexible. The hotel should show more care and understanding toward guests in emergency situations. Strictly refusing cancellation without any consideration is very disappointing."

"I loved the breakfast so much that this is my second stay. While it's not for people who prefer Japanese food, the chicken teriyaki sandwich and shrimp avocado sandwich are delicious. The smoothie they bring out when you sit down is also delicious. The location is perfect if you have a car."

EN Takeda Castle Town Hotel ★★★★★
"The location is excellent, very close to the Takeda Castle Tourist Bus Station. Takeda Castle and Sounkyo Gorge offer beautiful scenery; to see the sea of clouds, be sure to pay attention to the time and head up the mountain early. There are no bathrooms in the hotel rooms; showering is done in a private bathroom with a hot spring bath. Because there are few rooms, the bathing area isn't crowded; if you arrive at a slightly off-peak time, it's practically private."

"Despite it being the first three days of the New Year, the price was very reasonable, and to be honest, I didn't have very high expectations. However, the lovingly prepared meals, the feeling of peace and tranquility like returning home, and the wonderful hospitality and thoughtfulness of the inn staff made it a truly memorable experience. I definitely want to go again. I have experience staying at many inns, but this is a warm and welcoming place that I can truly recommend."

Takeda Base Inn ★★★
"This place is truly spectacular. There are four full bedrooms, a traditional tatami room where you can lay out more mattresses, a huge dining room, a large and fully equipped kitchen, a lounge area with a wood stove, and a ridiculously nice bathroom with a sculptural tub. The host is incredibly kind and speaks great English. There’s also a Super Nintendo setup for all your retro gaming needs. The location is gorgeous as well, and that includes the zen garden outside the main bedroom (which has incredibly comfortable beds). 15/10 stars!"
