Impeccable services. Alot of nice amenities kit such as cleanser, moisturiser, face cream, combs, hair bands, towel, shavers to take in front of the reception. Not alot of hotels in Japan provide moisturiser and face cream in sachets form. Reception is at Level 5. There is a machine to make tea and coffee and holy cow, the tea is the premium type of tea. Room is abit too cramped. Do not get the hotel buffet breakfast. Save your money, go downstairs to AEON food court for cheaper and better meals.

It’s a pleasant stay at JR inn Asahikawa. Extremely convenient and well located. The hotel and rooms are clean and provide all the necessary things and amenities. Even as a JR inn, it offers hot spring. Totally value for money

This hotel's location is fantastic! It has direct access to Asahikawa Station and Aeon Mall, and the airport shuttle stop is right in front of the station. Aeon Supermarket offers one-stop shopping and tax-free services, covering all your needs for clothes, food, and daily essentials when staying here.

Great stay in Asahikawa! The hotel is right outside the station and directly connected to AEON Mall, making it super convenient for transport, food, and shopping. It is also a great base for trips to Furano and Biei . The staff were cheerful and very helpful, including those in training. Despite the language barrier, communication was never a problem (I even heard staff speaking Chinese and another using translation device to help guests.) Rooms do not have bathtubs, but there is a free, spacious public bath on the reception level. There is also a nice lounge with lots of manga to browse. Breakfast was a standard Western-style buffet with a few Asahikawa specialities. The only downside is that there are just four washer/dryer sets, so the laundry room can get busy. Overall, I would definitely stay again!

Location is amazing, right next to the station. It is also connected to Aeon mall which is very convenient for shopping. Around the area there’s also quite abit of eateries. Recommended hotel.

The location is good, with a department store, supermarket, and train station downstairs, and a bustling area nearby, making it convenient for travel and dining. The hygiene could be better, and the common areas are quite noisy. The breakfast buffet food quality is not high, and the hygiene is not great. They say breakfast is served until 10 AM, but I saw someone come in at 9:30 AM, and there was hardly anything left to eat, with some food trays already cleared away, so you couldn't even get leftovers.

This is my repeated stay at jr inn! The location is super convenient to move around with eateries! There is a big Aeon mall supermarket with all kinds of things!  Room is of decent size and noise insulation is superb!

we stayed for 4nights, but housekeeping was only been arranged on the 4th date morning! and the room is very very small! Location is excellent Breakfast on 2F , choice of foods are limited

Very convenient location and Aeon is below the hotel. Breakfast has good variety. Spa is great. Highly recommended.

We enjoyed our stay here. The hotel lounge is very cozy and complimentary drinks was provided. The hot bath at the hotel was a great way to unwind after a long day.

We stayed for 4 nights during July and it was a great experience. Paid parking JPY payable upon check in, parking is Aeon Parking and best to drive straight till you park under the bridge. That is the best/closest entry to the hotel. Aeon is right there and hotel lift will get you there without stepping outdoors, great for snowy/rainy weather. You need to get a new parking ticket (QR code) from the front desk everyday to get out, and use it at the payment machine. The room is clean, the bed is comfortable, and the water pressure is good. The toilet has lots of functions and auto flush for you. They had a public bath and special mention to the outdoor bath, it stayed nice and hot. Overall a really great hotel, cannot beat the location, and interconnected to a shopping centre and JR train station.

JR Inn Asahikawa is located next to the Asahikawa Station and is connected to the Aeon Mall. It is very convenient because there is a big supermarket in Aeon Mall, and many food options. I also like their reading room where guests can just sit and relax, read, and enjoy the coffee and tea that is provided in the reading room.

I 1st came to Hokkaido in 20th July 2019 and i stayed at JR Inn Asahikawa. This time i selected the same hotel again. Service is good, i told them abt my previous visit and wld like to stay in that room again. They were so nice to help arranged for the room when it was available on my 3rd night. Kudos to the team for trying! The wonderful thing about staying here is even when you have checked out, when the train is delayed/postponed you can easily walked back to the hotel and explain to the staff and sit at the lounge waiting for your next train.
