"We visited Coworth for a double celebration - my ‘big’ birthday and our significant wedding anniversary. The hotel rooms are extremely comfortable and well thought-out. We appreciated our upgrade to the mansion building, as we found the stable room (which we started out in) to be rather noisy and overlooked. The mansion room had a glorious view of an ancient cedar tree. The hotel provided lots of lovely celebratory treats in our room including bubbly and balloons. What a wonderful surprise. We found the reception staff and porters to be very helpful. The spa was clean and peaceful with outdoor loungers where you could relax amidst lavender bushes. There was no jacuzzi but the steam room was great. The grounds, especially on a warm summers’ evening, were magical to stroll around. All that let down our stay was our experience at the Barn. We went there for both our evening meal and breakfast. Both times they got my order wrong. For dinner I’d ordered a medium-well steak and it was so well done that it was tough to eat. The service was rather piecemeal and no one came to check how our meal was - otherwise I might have been tempted to send it back. (The food had taken a little while to come, so we just wanted to eat at that point!) At breakfast I ordered a dish with no eggs and it came with eggs on it - this time I sent it back and they brought me the correct order. Given that it was our double celebration, we also expected someone amoungst the wait staff to acknowledge our celebration(s). No one mentioned it, even when I arrived at breakfast on the actual morning of my big birthday. The piecemeal service and lack of attention in the Barn didn’t match the excellent service we received in the rest of the hotel, including in the bar. It’s the only aspect of our stay that we were left underwhelmed by - and would possibly be the only barrier to us visiting again! All in all a gorgeous and well-run hotel but some room for improvement at the Barn!"

"Great breakfast, very popular in Ascot. There is the 703 bus station just outside the door. Uber is very convenient. The room faces the street and is next to the road. There may be some traffic and some noise during the day. It was still very quiet at night. They are basically available in the room. The special radio is very modern and made me feel the British FM."

"A Joyful, Heart‑Warming Escape From the moment my wife and I drove through the beautiful grounds, we felt an immediate lift — it was a mix of excitement and joy we just felt we were somewhere special. The valet and front‑of‑house team greeted us with such enthusiasm and genuine warmth that it felt like arriving to stay with some friends. We arrived early and so wandered through the peaceful grounds, taking in the countryside views and statues. Then were escorted to our gorgeous room. It was elegant, modern, and so comfortable. After unpacking we sat by the window with a glass of champagne, looking out over the gardens, it was one of those simple moments that just makes you smile. The spa was next on our list this added to our experience of relaxation and calm. The staff were so kind and welcoming, and the swim and steam room was fantastic. Dinner at The Barn, delicious food, a lovely atmosphere, and a team who made the whole experience feel special. Fed and watered we returned to our lovely room and four‑poster bed agreeing how perfect our day had been. The whole experience was fantastic and we drove away feeling refreshed, uplifted, and genuinely happy. We’ll definitely be returning hopefully for a longer stay. A special thank you to Andre the breakfast manager who made us feel so welcome ."
