"This hotel is listed as a hotel without a deposit. It is also listed as a hotel that provides a pick-up service. However, when I tried to use the pick-up service at the Washington airport, the phone wouldn't connect. It was around 1:00 PM local time. I took a taxi to get there. There was a black man sitting at the front desk. This skinny black man was dangerous. He said it was the room card fee and asked me to pay $50 with my card. In addition, are you really only staying for one day? I checked. No matter how much I thought about it, I thought this wasn't right, so I told Trip.com about the $50 deposit and they said it was a deposit. They said they would return it, so I just said yes, but a thousand curses came to my mind... What hotel makes you pay the deposit with a card? In that case, the hotel would rather not accept it. It's annoying to have to refund the card every time. And the website said that I made the reservation because there was no deposit. In the end, I took a taxi from the hotel to the plane. Many Asians get ripped off when they go to America because they don't speak English. But how would it feel to be told that it was a deposit by a citizen of your country? This made me think about Trip.com again. Hotel? Don't go. If you speak English well and have money, go."
