Bella Vista Motel Ashburton

Room was comfortable and very clean. Very nice stay overall.

Everything is above the motel standard. They even provide wine glasses & heated towel rack. Very sweet of them to give you a small bottle of milk when check in, so that you can make tea / coffee immediately. It would be perfect if they’ve a small shelf inside the shower to put soap ! Bath gel.

An ideal stop as a family of 4 on our adventure, great service, friendly staff and clean. The kids enjoyed the grass area while they were kicking a ball, and there was scooters there also. We enjoyed our tea on there BBQ, our room was serviced daily. Thanks for a comfortable clean stay!

This's was a bit dearer than the other places we stayed during our trip, but well worth it. Even got an upgrade at no extra expense. The lady in reception was very pleasant. Would definitely stay Here again

Hosts were very accommodating with my late arrival time and left light on and key in room which was great! Room was a lot larger than I had expected as was the shower room. Walking distance to a Robert Harris (open for breakfast and very popular) and a pub but much longer walk to get to town centre. I found this Bella Vista a lot quieter than some of the other motels I have stayed at in Ashburton as it had a better aspect to the main road which sheltered the rooms from some of the noise. Free wifi and the usual tea & coffee etc

I always love to stay in new motels, linens still smell new, kitchen appliances are stainless. Bella Vista is a new motel in Ashburton. We stayed in a one-bedroom unit and was spacious enough for a family of 4 like us. Thanks to jet lag and the comfortable beds, we overslept past the check-out time at 10.00 am. The hosts, Heather and Evan were so kind and understanding and did not impose extra charges even though we finally only managed to check out at 11.15am. Conveniently located with eateries within walking distance and definitely a motel that I would recommend to those who plan to stopover in Ashburton for a good rest.

Stayed here for one night, I’ll often use Bella Vista when I am passing through a town. The lady:owner that checked me in was great, very friendly. This one is exactly what you would expect, I had a clean and comfortable room with a really good hot shower. My only small criticism was that for some reason my room (I was upstairs in number 17) didn’t have a microwave so I got a bit caught out for my breakfast I’d brought with me. Lots of parking right outside the rooms and in a good location
