My parents were very satisfied. They enjoyed a quiet walk along the stream in the surrounding rural village and rented a family bath. Both breakfast and dinner were excellent, the staff was friendly, and the bedding in the room was comfortable.

This is a Japanese-style hotel that offers complimentary private onsen baths for guests to reserve. Dinner is a buffet, complete with unlimited sake and grilled wagyu beef. The buffet is incredibly rich and varied. I'd definitely visit again!

This is a truly beautiful ryokan! It's a wonderful place with several baths available, allowing for private onsen experiences. This is my second visit, and it's a place I'd love to go to again.

Great dinner that you much purchase together with room stay! Private hot springs on first come first serve which we enjoy very much. As tourist, we also enjoyed the Japanese room. Also very good breakfast with fruits choice from the region. Will definitely stay again in next visit to ASO. P.S. we missed the Mount ASO Smoke Observation Park on the first day as they stop visitor from 4pm. We went again the next day morning (JPY1000 per car driving up) and finally made it of Mount ASO.

Very nice resort type of accommodation . There is no bathroom in the room type without hot spring. You will have to book 1 of the individual hot spring room for that . Staff is friendly and helpful and parking is free for guest . Overall a pretty nice experience , facility is clean and well kept .

The hotel's overall ambiance was lovely, but the facilities were a bit basic. The rooms didn't have private showers, so we had to use the hot spring area to wash up, which was quite inconvenient. However, the evening carnival was a huge hit with the kids.

2nd time stayed here. Excellent dinner and breakfast buffet. Private Onsen in the room is superb. Will stay here agin the the next visit for sure.
