Premier Inn Astana ★★★★
"The location is a bit out of the way and the breakfast is very basic. There's no elevator, but other than that, it's okay. Each floor has a water dispenser, which is really convenient for a water-drinker like me!"
HOSTEL 13/77 ★★★
"Dormitory in a hallway, so it was noisy."
Altyn Eco Park Hotel ★★★★
A cosy country hotel offering free breakfast and a shuttle service, located just 13 km from the airport. A tranquil base for families and road trippers.
TAMYRLY Astana ★★★
"Good bad location"
Bekarys Hotel ★★
"I stayed here from June 2nd to 6th. The room was clean, spacious, and bright. It was very cozy and relaxing. All the necessary amenities were available: outlets by the beds, a fridge, and a hairdryer. The only minor issue was that it was impossible to keep water from getting on the bathroom floor in the shower, but it wasn't a deal-breaker. Overall, a very pleasant hotel in terms of value for money."
CAPS LOCK Future Hotel ★★★
"A great option to relax during a long layover. My friend and I were flying to Vietnam, saw this hotel and on the way back booked two capsules in advance. They responded to us very quickly and confirmed the time. I thank the administrator Zhazira for her professionalism and assistance on all issues. The capsule is excellent, the linen is snow-white, they give you a towel, you can take a shower. There is wi fi, you can charge your phone. Payment is in tenge, the exchange office at the airport exchanges rubles and dollars. You cannot withdraw money from a Russian card."
Saad Hotel Astana ★★★★★
"Outdated rooms. Good location, but the shower door didn't close properly."
Best Western Plus Astana ★★★★
"Best western is famous for its old classical design. But this time it was a little bit dirty or there was no person in the room for a long time. However, they got a new massage service on the 3rd floor which was amazing!"
KORSAR ★★★
"Wonderful cozy hotel. Great value for money. Within walking distance to cafes, a supermarket, and pharmacies. There's a good Georgian restaurant downstairs. Breakfasts are decent."

Ramada by Wyndham Astana
"I read a review mentioning someone got a room with a small window facing an inner courtyard with air conditioning units. We got the same. When we asked to change rooms, they said there were no standard rooms with large windows available and offered a two-room suite for an extra charge. We used the free bicycles. There's a sauna with a pool. The breakfasts are good, buffet style. The location is great, and there's a parking lot under a barrier for cars. The staff is friendly."

Kazzhol Hotel Astana
"We stayed here for 4 nights. The room was quite spacious and offered a nice view. There was a alcove with a table where coffee/tea/water (1 bottle) and a kettle were available. The bathroom had a bathtub with a shower. Issue 1: The strange thing was that the partition between the room and the bathroom was made of glass, and there was only one curtain on the bathroom side. There should have been two curtains. Therefore, a person in the bathroom could always be seen from the room. Issue 2: There was only one towel, one pair of slippers, and one bathrobe in the room, which is odd for a double room. After a complaint, we received a second set. The staff member looked at the curtain, shrugged, and left. After complaining again, we were promised that the curtain issue would be resolved the next day at 9 a.m. Issue 3: It was warm in the room, and we couldn't get the temperature lower than 26 degrees, while the outside temperature remained below 20 degrees all days. The next evening, nothing had been done about the curtain. And again, there was only one towel. The second pair of (unused) slippers had even been removed. After insisting, we were given another room, almost identical to the first but with two curtains in the bathroom. In this new room, it was again warmer than 26 degrees, despite keeping the window open all day and night. The air conditioning only provided warm air, which seemed intentional. On the third day, there was again only one towel. After complaining, a second towel was supposed to be brought, but this only happened after we complained again. Only on the last day did we receive two towels. The first bed slept well, the second bed was okay but quite hard. The location of the hotel is not great, just a bit too far from the center. There were only a few restaurants in the vicinity. Breakfast was okay, but at 7 a.m., not everything was available, and later in the morning, not everything was replenished. It was noticeable that the hotel in Almaty, from the same chain, was very good."

"The hotel is close to the old rail way station, but far from the new one (25-30 minutes by taxi). So please check well which one is your destination. The staffs were nice and helpful. They tried to help in anything I requested."
Comfort Hotel Astana
"The experience was great, and the hygiene was acceptable."

Aner
Jumbaktas Hotel
"My expectations were not met. As soon as I arrived at reception, I was told that the spa would cost an additional 10,000 tenge ($20) for each entrance. Nowhere on the website did it say that there was a charge for this (for my room type). They said that the free spa was available in "business" rooms, but my room was also very good and cost only 1,500 tenge less than a business room ($3). But I couldn't book it because it was occupied. I offered to pay extra for a formal upgrade without moving rooms so that I could use the spa for free, but they told me that this was not possible and that I had to pay. This upset me greatly. On top of all this, the shower in the room worked very poorly. I had to wait 20-25 minutes for hot water. The reception explained to me that this was normal. The room was cleaned very poorly. When I first arrived, there were dark stains in the bathroom of unknown origin (maybe coffee), but during my week-long stay, nothing was cleaned up. The cleaners came WITHOUT KNOCKING. Without warning, which caught me off guard. They even came to clean very late after lunch, even though the reception desk said that the cleaners only work until lunchtime. Because of this, they refused to let me check out later at my request, as my flight was in the evening. I was told that I could check out two hours later, but then another girl abruptly said after my breakfast that no, we can't do that for you."
Wyndham Garden Astana
