The Gran Resort Elegante Atami

I didn't have high expectations after looking at the Ctrip score, but many hotels were fully booked that night for the fireworks display, so I came to this hotel. It was actually OK. The room is not small, the terrace is super large, you can see the sea, but it is blocked by high-voltage wires. It's not far from Atami Station to the room, 10 minutes away, but you have to walk up the stairs or take an S-shaped road, which is a bit painful to carry a suitcase. There is no bathroom in the room, only a public bath. There are very few people and it is almost reserved. When I checked in at around 6:30, there was no one at the front desk. I had to call them to come out. It was a bit strange. And they also stipulated that the door is locked from 11pm to 6am the next day and no one can enter or leave.

The hotel is on the side of a very steep mountain. Driving and parking are very inconvenient. It is quite a distance from the business district at the foot of the mountain. The steep stairs going up the mountain are very difficult at night. There is no bathroom in the hotel room, so you need to go to the public bathroom. There are many ants in the tatami corner. The elevator only goes to the lower floors. If you live on the upper floors, you need to carry your luggage and climb the stairs. The two Indian waiters at the front desk had poor English skills and could only barely communicate. The advantages are that there is plenty of sunshine on the terrace, the Internet speed provided by the hotel is good, and the laundry room is clean and hygienic.

Facilities: The hotel is on the mountain. I came to Atami just to watch the fireworks festival. The hotel room only has a toilet, no shower, and can only take a bath and soak in the public bathroom. Service: The hotel front desk is an elderly Japanese man. He doesn't speak good English. I can understand him, but he answered in Japanese, so there was a communication barrier. The next day, a Southeast Asian man came. He spoke good English and could communicate without any obstacles. He helped me call a taxi down the mountain. Environment: After watching the fireworks festival in Atami, the transportation was really inconvenient. I couldn't get a taxi, so I had to walk all the way up the mountain back to the hotel.
