I loved this hotel. Friendly staff, nice food and close to all the beautiful tourist attractions.

Convenient location, very good facilities. Elevators are very compact and staff didn’t assist with moving the luggage in/out of the rooms at the check in/check out.

I was greeted by Thomas, he was so kind friendly and approachable. the check in process was smooth and easy. less than 5 minutes. Service was excellent. Room offered was VERY SPACIOUS and SUPER CLEAN. amenities provided were beyond my expectation.Amazing food choices at the breakfast buffet. Food was so delicious and amazing. I’d recommend to stay in this hotel. 5/5 stars for Athenaeum Grand Hotel

While the hotel rooms felt a bit dated, the strong shower pressure and extensive breakfast spread were definite highlights. The excellent and friendly service largely compensated for the older facilities, and its location is very convenient for visiting the Acropolis.

Everything was perfect

The room floor wasn’t clean. I found a lot of hair and dust around the room floor.

Situated right by the main road, making transportation very convenient.

Super accessible from the airport with metro M3 to Syntagma and then by bus, which stops right in front of the hotel.

It was just okay. The street-facing side was quite noisy.

Great hospitality. The breakfast was excellent, particularly the yellow peaches.

It was hard to sleep the first day of arrival, Saturday unfortunately, even until 5 am because of the nightclub nearby, which I was not aware of beforehand. Except for this incident, almost everything was alright and nice, especially services, room service, and receptionists to manage smoothly and helpful. Staff kindly helped me to provide private tours and go out at any time I requested.

Staff are friendly and the location is convenient to the attraction sites. Price is average for the rooms and no meals are provided, they have a mini bar in the room which has ridiculous prices for just water and soft drinks. Curtains would need more cleaning!
