I am very very unhappy with the description of this hotel on Trip.com. The hotel should be a one star and nothing more. The ac in our room was noisy. The beds were very uncomfortable the chair in the room was torn the chairs in the lobby were torn the room was painted an unsightly pink colour. I would not have booked this hotel if I was aware of all this. Also Trip.com does not put the accurate area of the location of some hotels, like in this case, so I can be sure it is safe and a good place for me.

While the hotel isn't in the very heart of the city, it's just a 7-minute walk to the metro station. There's a large supermarket right downstairs, which makes shopping incredibly convenient. The breakfast spread was quite generous. The front desk staff were very friendly and proactive in offering assistance. Milan's metro system is excellent, and you can reach the city center in about 20 minutes. The surrounding neighborhood is also quite pleasant. Definitely recommended, it offers exceptional value for money!

Disappointing Stay – Not Worth the 4-Star Claim I stayed at Xenophon Hotel in Athens and was quite disappointed. Although the hotel claims to be 4-star, that rating likely dates back to when the building was renovated for the Olympics. The exterior and interior feel old and worn. The bathroom was especially underwhelming — very small shower area with a dirty, wet curtain constantly brushing against you. Cleaning was poor: long hairs were left both in the bathroom and on the bed. On the positive side, breakfast was solid (though definitely not 4-star quality), and the staff were helpful and polite. However, don’t expect parking if you arrive late — all spots were already taken by the time I checked in. Overall, not worth the €70 I paid for one night. I recommend looking at other alternatives in Athens.

Far from a four star hotel. Rooms and bathrooms need renovating. Breakfast is mostly processed foods with weird taste. Could do better!

I booked this hotel because it was very affordable, but honestly it doesn’t feel like a real 4-star hotel. The area around it is not very nice and feels a bit run-down, which makes the location less appealing. That said, the hotel itself was clean, and that was a positive point. Overall, if you’re just looking for a budget option to spend the night, it works, but don’t expect a true 4-star experience.

Very clean, friendly staff and well educated and an abundant break fast highly recommend.

Hotel is near to bus stop, Metro station. B. Fast is OK . Cleanliness is OK. Rooms are not so much isolated as you can hear many sounds fun other rooms. Good value for the price.

The hotel's proximity to the subway station is very convenient. However, the property is quite old and the facilities are dated. On the bright side, the service was satisfactory, and the breakfast was decent.

Close to Kato Patisia metro station. Good breakfast, location is OK. Not the best area in Athens but it was a good money for value.

It is clean and no facilities to make tea/ coffee. No water provided. The staff were not polite. Breakfast is good. No tourists information available

The property was welcoming and very well-located, just a 4-minute walk from the metro. The room was good. The only minor letdown was the small bathroom, which didn't appear to have been renovated like the room. Breakfast offered an excellent and generous selection of both sweet and savory items.

Good metro connection. Room 405 had a very strong cigarette smell, and the shower drain in the bathroom was clogged.

We really enjoyed our stay there. Definitely going back.
