First of all, the hotel staff are so nice incl. receptionists, breakfast lady, room attendants, etc. They all smile at you and greet you, very polite and helpful. We also booked 1 triple room for 3 adults but they gave us 2 double rooms with the same price of course although they had to move us to ground floor the 2nd day due to some electrical defaults in one of the rooms as it was newly renovated, which didnt bother us at all. We happily moved. Also free water bottles in the fridge included, all the necessary amenities were there, no kettle to boil water or cups for hot drinks were provided in the room but if you ask them, hot water provided at the hotel reception 24/7 also free tea, coffee and hot water for all guests provided from 3-9pm! Rooms were decent sized with comfy and clean beds, daily room service, breakfast was good and plenty and included in the room price, so cant complain! More hot food options would have been nice but it was continental which still was adequate. 5/5 stars

It was a HORRIBLE experience at Philipos Hotel.. We didn't find what we expected at the hotel and the pictures are not like the reality! We booked a Twin room with a view on the Acropolis. But they gave us a VERY basic room without any service and without a view on the main street. Everything is missing in the room: Dental kit, vanity kit, slippers, etc. We told them in the first night about the issu and asked for a better room, and they said they don't have another room. In the morning of the second day, we asked them again and they said that there is no available room, then and in the evening we asked them again arguing that the room smell bad also.. Then they agreed to give us another room but it was 100% the same.. Similar to the first one. We were in room 206 and changed it to roome 208 in the second night. It And the hotel gave us another room which is 100% similar to the first room (veey small, bad small, bad view, etc). No comb, no vanity kit, no slippers We booked a room with a view in Acropolis. But they gave us a room with no street view at all and with no view on Acropolis. When we askes them several time.. They said that it waa just a picture of a room with Acropolis's view on the booking website! Stay away from this hotel!

It’s is in a great position. Easy to walk to the acropolis and plaka. Breakfast was delicious

Very good! It’s located near the tourist spot and it provides light breakfast every day. Also, there’s even a balcony for our room!

Bad bad hotel

Hotel very well located, charming staff, however my room was noisy no soundproofing with the room next door. It's too bad.

A very cost-effective hotel, clean and warm, with a super good location, only 3-5 minutes to the Acropolis and the Acropolis Museum. After visiting the Acropolis Museum, it was still early for our scheduled visit to the Acropolis, so it was very convenient to go back to the hotel to rest before coming out. The hotel staff were very nice and professional. I had a problem with the tickets I booked online, and they helped me solve it. Thank you very much!

The biggest advantage of this hotel is that it is close to the Acropolis scenic area, which is only a few hundred meters away on foot. There are some restaurants nearby to choose from. There are not many varieties of breakfast, but it is enough to eat. The biggest problem is that the room area is very small. I stayed in different rooms twice and couldn't put large luggage. There are also two high steps in front of the hotel. It is very hard to carry a large suitcase up and down. Friends who carry large suitcases should choose carefully.

I loved this hotel, perfect location, helpful staff, super clean room every day, the breakfast was super wonderful, lots of different things, a place I would like to be again, we had to leave early in the morning and they prepared coffee for us eating at the airport is simply wonderful!!!! I LOVED

The location is great, almost next door to the Acropolis Museum, a 7-minute walk from the Acropolis entrance, a 15-minute walk from Syntagma Square, and a 5-minute walk from the subway station. The room was clean and the free breakfast was very good. In such a convenient location in the old town, this hotel couldn't be any better. Highly recommended!

The location is great, the rooms are clean, and the staff is friendly.

The hotel is conveniently located, but all the furniture and equipment is very old and needs to be updated for a long time. The refrigerator did not work, the horses had to be turned off at night, because it was very noisy. Breakfast modest and little space. It is impossible to park a car nearby - places can be found only 4 blocks away.
