We start with the positive aspects: very appreciable breakfast in quality, quantity and variety, available from 7 to 11 which is not all of us. Receptionists gentle. Now we go to the rest. At the arrival, despite the reservation provided double rooms (we are all colleagues because it is a work trip) they tried to replace us three marriage, replaced after our protests. The rooms had a small bathroom, with a window that looks at the axis room, a few centimetres; the shower will be 60 x 60, wash with the tent applied on it because there is no box; The washing machine looks like a small waterway, size camper. Women in the cleaning room are very urged to change sapony, towels and baths every day, to barbe at all ecological sensitivity (I tried to present it at the reception but I was not absolutely understood, and I don't speak the language) but if it is to swallow a floor, empty a powder, or throw a bag with inside the pizza cartridges their scourge disappears, to re-emerging if they have to remove the device left below from the spine Then the phone at the wall is true, but it is very basic. This hotel still uses the keys instead of the magnetic cards: and of them it is very jealous, at the point that people in the room were two, but the key to which they were entitled was one! I’m sad to read that there was this problem even ages ago, and till last week nothing has changed… I didn’t check tripadvisor before to book I’m only opening this to let the others know this problem but I’m seeing it’s an old and unsolved problem. After the orribile first night told to the reception what happened, oh ok I’ll send the housekeeper to sanificate the room, when we returned back in the evening I think nobody has never entered into that room coz the sheet were still dirty of blood. Second night again, this time they changed us the room, same problem meanwhile I was getting worst and worst and fortunately they chased just me (we were with 2 kids 2 and an half, and 8 months baby). Once again I went down to the reception and we got another room, but nothing changed. The only thing they have to do is junk everything in the bin start to sanificate and deep clean from the rooftop to the basement, then paint the wall and new everything. (We were 4 but in the first two rooms we got 3 single beds, in the last one just a doble bed)

Just about acceptable if on a budget as room was clean, beds comfy, excellent coffee at breakfast, staff friendly and drinks cheap. BUT so many reasons that we would not stay again. Very dated miserable looking decor, bathroom got flooded when shower used, no english tv stations, air con very noisy and not very effective, nicotine smell all about (no non smoking rooms in the hotel), and no ‘atmosphere’. I was bemused to order a gin and tonic and be told they didn’t have a slice or of lemon to put in it. A basic hotel that felt a bit joyless, but I am still giving it 3 stars because for the low price, what do you expect ? ? If you are in a strict budget and you don’t expect anything at all fancy, its perfectly fine. But for us, next time we would pay a bit more and stay somewhere else.

The room is clean, they come in every day to clean and change towels, a nice layer! Very nice breakfast, delicious coffee, water if you want to make raspberries, milk, cereals, omelets, pie, eggs, mallets, cheese, 2 kinds of bread, handmade marmalade, dry fruit, everything! Very easy and fast access to 2 minutes from the suburban station! Free parking! Very good sound isolation! At a short distance there is Galaxy and Lidl! That's right! That's right if we need it again!

We stayed at this hotel for 1 night after flying in from Santorini. We were driving to Meteora the next morning and wanted something that wasn't in the middle of Athens and closer to exiting the city. The hotel is situated in a quiet neighborhood. Parking is on the street, but we had no trouble finding a spot. Check in was a breeze and we were in our room in no time. The rooms are a good size, very modern, and with a comfortable bed. In the morning, we checked out and took advantage of the very good breakfast they had. Overall, this hotel was excellent for what we needed it. Would definitely recommend and stay again in the future.

The front desk is kind and gentle. Supermarket is also close. Taxis can also be easily taken, and if you say it is strong, the futon is too thin.

We were a group, stayed for a weekend and its an absolutely lovely hotel with incredibly helpful staff members. All our requests were fully accommodated and the staff even got the breakfast ready before usual opening times as we had to leave early. Nothing was a trouble, the ladies at the reception were amazing, (so sorry can't remember the names ). When I asked for directions, she found out the information and wrote it down clearly on a paper and gave it to us. its definitely 5 star customer service. The hotel itself was very clean, great buffet breakfast, very reasonable prices. It is very close to the city centre and metro station, not great neighbourhood but we never had any issues Thanks again we definitely will be back!

I am a former Vice Consul who is currently heavily disabled and I live in Tolo-Argolida with my partner who needed urgent medical attention at the KAT Hospital in Kifissia. Not knowing the hotels in Kifissia, I happened to call the Pines. It was confirmed to me that it had easy access to the said hospital, so believing the member of staff I went ahead and booked the hotel. At no point during our conversation was I told that this is a couples hotel as I would never have accepted to book. We got there at 01.35 tired and nervous about our hospital visit, but we went off immediately to get some lunch On our return to the hotel at 15.10 we had decided to take a short rest so I asked the reception staff to wake us up with coffee at 15.45 so that we don't miss our very important hospital appointment. Thankfully, though I hadn't fallen asleep as I was very disturbed after turning on the TV in order to relax our minds by watching the daily news but instead finding two hard core porn channels back to back... at this point I switched off the TV and awaited for the coffee. When at 15.50 it still hadn't arrived, I called reception to ask what had happened, only to be told that he would send some coffee up to us immediately. After 15 minutes though and as we had to urgently leave in order not to miss our appointment at the Hospital, the bar staff knocked the door carrying two cups of coffee. However, as we were already running late we did not have any time to waste so, after I told the bar staff that he was too late, we rushed off to the hospital. What shocked me most of all is that the reception staff called to complain. I can't believe the audacity of it. Instead of apologising he appeared angry! Can you believe it? An 180 kilometres journey for a hospital appointment that we nearly missed simply because of their inefficiency!!! At this point I need to stress to other prospective customers that the Pines Hotel, in my view is 100% a ”couples” hotel! I find it very unfair that they do not warn customers before their arrival!!!
