Monks Barn Farm - Self Catering Cottage

A beautiful site with spacious well maintained pitches and superb views. The owner was the perfect host, providing us with all the info we needed for our stay. We were thrilled to see the newborn lambs during our stay and there was an abundance of wildlife. The site made a perfect base for visiting nearby Stratford and a number of National Trust properties. When you find a place like this, you need to go back again. And I'm sure we will!

Had a fabulous stay, it was a dream campsite with the views, so quiet but allowing the sounds of the animals in the background. All campers were very pleasant and it had a great atmosphere. We will be back. I cannot fault this campsite and it would be very picky to give any negatives. Thank you for a lovely stay and the opportunity to meet Stan.

Amazing place so close to everything Stratford-upon-Avon and the Cotswolds has to offer but also the peace and space to have the most relaxing holiday. Stayed in Dairy Cottage cannot fault anything. Thank you for the best break ever.

Had a lovely stay here for a few nights. Very friendly welcome and pitch on hardstanding away from the A3400. It is very much a working farm, but seeing the horses and sheep in the nearby fields was lovely. The walk to Clifford Chambers only takes around 15 minutes which means the pub isn't too far away! The site is a mile from a long-stay car park (+ Waitrose and a Costa) that is itself only a 15-20 minute walk into Stratford along a quiet cycle path. There are only a couple of toilets and one shower on site (which are very clean btw), but you may need your onboard facilities at busier times. Would certainly recommend it as a base to explore Stratford and the surrounding area.

A lovely little campsite within walking distance to Stratford (approximately two miles). The very helpful owner provides a map of the footpaths to walk in to town and to the pub. We stayed in February so there were only a couple of other 'vans on site. The facilities (two toilets, one with a shower) might struggle a bit in peak season. We stayed during lambing season & it was great to have lambs along side our 'van. Would certainly stay here again.

Beautiful area, stayed on the rally pitch which made the stay enjoyable. The downside was how rude the owner was to us on several occasions. On the Saturday morning we woke up to no electricity, my partner went to the farm to enquire, she was quite abrupt, long story but at the end of stay again she was abrupt and not at all friendly. We won’t be back.
