Very friendly staff, check-in/out super smooth. The room was comfortable but super noisy : it faces one of the main “interstate?” or Atlanta ring and noise insulation is very poor. One would expect better for such hotel. Location is great… building quality should be better.

Very bad hotel to be a luxury Marriott. The corridors are dirty we find socks and pampers in floor 19. The elevators work poorly. They take a long time and you have to go up to be able to go down. There is no body wash in the two rooms we have. Too many people. Oversaturated. The room they gave us was occupied. They changed us to another one and it was in someone else’s name so we had to go down to the counter again.

It was a very pleasant experience staying at Kimpton the Shane. Home keeping was done everyday. Nice toiletries were provided, replaced as requested/required. We were there to visit the city but it also could be a nice spot for staycation as they have a lot of options of room service along with a bar and restaurant attached!

Our stay was very comfortable, the hotel is absolutely beautiful! The service was ok, as some of the staff were not very welcoming. Those standing at the door (the first face visitors see) stand in a staunch, serious manner, and do not even offer a greeting, smile, nod, nothing. You are not even acknowledged. I guess it depends on who you are. The front desk workers were always pleasant and attended to questions/ requests with a smile. My family and I enjoyed the food at the Nest restaurant, as we ate there several times during our stay. Overall, we enjoyed Signia by Hilton. The only thing I didn’t appreciate was being made to feel that we were not welcomed.

I was at the hotel on a business trip and didn't book my own room, so I can't speak to price/value. The room was spacious and clean, and the breakfast has a great selection and decent food (though the scrambled eggs were very dry my first day there). My toilet paper holder was broken, but that wasn't a big deal to me so I didn't mention it to staff. The linens are on the scratchier side, but that is probably to be expected from a mid-tier hotel - I don't spend a lot of time in hotels.

Compared with China, the facilities are relatively old, probably because the hotel has been built for too long. But the scenery outside the window is very good, and you can feel the reputation of Atlanta Forest City. Some of the staff's attitudes are good and some are bad depending on luck, but overall they are very attentive, close to the Lenox shopping mall, very convenient.

GGuest UserI am a Marriott Platinum Elite member and have been loyal to Marriott for 7 years. I’ve stayed at Marriott chains all over the country & this location has the worst customer service & staff by FAR. First of all the security for the hotel attempted to hit on me during our first interaction but I kindly turned him down bc I am married. Very unprofessional when you’re at work! Secondly upon checking in the room, there were stains on the curtains, couch and a cigarette burn hole on the bar stool. No seats for the balcony or any privacy on the balcony. The kitchen could’ve been cleaner & the sheets on the bed were not the correct size, there was a mattress cover but no fitted sheet. We didn’t even complain! The real issue came when we were woken up at 8:30am by security BANGING on the door like the Swat team. He literally woke me and my daughter up and was at the door telling my husband that we were smoking and that he could smell it and that we needed to leave the property and would be charged a $500 fine! I immediately told him that we were not smoking and that we smell smoke too and my husband had an incense burning to block the smoke smell from getting to my daughter. We are not tattle tells so we did not care to call downstairs to make it an issue, it was easier to light the incense. We literally travel with these incense bc sometimes there are pet or smoke smells at some of these hotels. The security guard seemed to not care about what I was telling him so I told him not to come back to my room without a manager. He came back twice WITHOUT the manager, said the manager was unavailable and brought a luggage cart telling us we needed to leave or he was going to call the police! I told him to call them bc I was not leaving without a refund. He kept lying to his manager on the phone saying that we were refusing to leave but not telling him what I was saying which was COME BACK WITH YOUR MANAGER. The security guy was extremely rude & aggressive and needs to be FIRED. The manager FINALLY came up to the room 20 min later smh and when he did I offered him to come inside and smell or take a look bc we had nothing to hide. He said he could smell smoke but not tell what it was and I informed him we had an incense burning. He asked us to put it out and said that we couldn’t burn incense or light candles at this hotel. That was my first time hearing a no incense or candle burning policy from Marriott. He told us we were fine and to enjoy the rest of our stay without even addressing the rude behavior from security. I told him we would be checking out immediately and calling Marriott customer service for a full refund for being woken up and harassed. I called customer service as I was checking out to file a complaint and ask for assistance with getting a refund. Well here it is a week later and the hotel STILL hasn’t given me a refund or returned my deposit! Customer service team said the manager said he would not be returning my funds so I’ve escalated it to
GGuest UserI stayed at the Renaissance Concourse for one evening given that I had an international connection the next day. The positive things I can say are that the staff are lovely and it’s an excellent hotel for plane spotting. In particular, the staff were cheerful and helpful and it was fun to watch planes land from my balcony, especially when I was dealing with jet lag. The room, however, was horrid. One of the bedside lamps didn’t work, one of the phones didn’t work, the closet wood was quite chipped, and there was a random white container on a table containing two empty clear bags. The cushions for the seat were standing up and not sitting flat - I have no idea why but I decided not to use that chair. The toilet flusher had a weird green residue on it (see picture), the bathroom lights were mismatched, and the travel-size body lotion was only half full and had already been used. The biggest fright was when I opened the closet this morning looking for the hair dryer and noticed extensive mold from a leak (see picture). Talk about a health hazard. I couldn’t wait to get out of this room and left for the airport early.
GGuest UserWe spent 8 days in the hotel and it was wonderful. There is so much to do for everyone, in walking distance. The Aquarium, centennial park, civil rights museum, coca cola museum, restaurants and shopping. Its the best hotel breakfast Ive had in years. The hotel is clean and the staff is amazing. Ms. Ruby has the best hospitality I've seen. She knows you by name and always checks in to make sureyou have what you need. Ms Rhonda and Ms. Shamon do an awesome job with breakfast. The security guards and vallet are very friendly and attentive. The only downfall was slightly low water pressure in the bathrooms. Excellent overall experience and I would stay here again.
GGuest UserVery nice newer hotel. Service was ok. Security arrived quickly to reset the safe, though the maintenance staff couldn't fix my dripping shower faucet. They showed up right away, misdiagnosed the problem and said it would stop over time. It didn't. When I notified the front desk the next morning, they assured me that maintenance would be there to fix it. They never showed up again. Three days of hearing a dripping shower faucet...
Oh yeah, and don't get a room on the second floor near the fitness center. Gyms bros too weak to properly put down dumbbells. *****s letting them drop and thus rattling everything on the floor at all hours of the day and night.
GGuest UserBooked a stay for an Elton John concert. First time staying at this property. Room was nice, location was great. But really wanted to take the time to write a review because of the phenomenal experience at check in with Toni-Ann. She was so sweet, joyful, and helpful and made the entire experience that much better right from check-in. I truly believe when things start off good from the get go you’re more than likely to keep that energy going for the rest of the trip - so thank you Toni-Ann!
GGuest UserThis Hotel is in a great Location. The front desk staff are meh. Not very friendly. The Breakfast is pitiful, sausage sitting in a pan full of grease, I know sausage is greasy, but I’ve never seen it served sitting in a pan full of greased. So not appetizing at all. The first day the French toast sticks were stuck together and half cooked. Fruit bowl never refilled. Charging $15 for that is insane!! I will say the Breakfast attendants are sweet and helpful. The parking is ridiculous, I have to pay $45 per day for an attendant to go park my car 50 feet away. That’s just taking advantage of people. I should be able to park my own car instead of being rushed out of my car trying to grab all my things, shopping bags, etc. Hallways are very loud throughout the night. Ghetto guests allowed to say the worst cuss words and talk any way they want to loudly in front of other guests and Children. I finally had to say something to this one girl. This is a family friendly Hotel as the Aquarium, Coke Museum, Centennial Park are all located within walking distance. Hotel staff shouldn’t let crap like this happen or continue. Good luck if you need towels, an extra blanket, or whatever, Housekeeping doesnt clean or replenish anything and that was on my third day. You have to call and ask for it, but the phone doesn’t work in the room and I had to use my cellphone to call the front desk. I had to go get it myself and the guy couldn’t get into the linen closet cause someone locked the door and they didn’t have a key. He had to go to an open room and get it from there, SMH. I paid over $200 a night to stay here and I’m very disappointed. Won’t be back. Will go stay at the overpriced, outdated, Westin instead and pay for an Uber to drive me and my family to where we got to go.
RRonald BI arrived at Sonesta later in the evening after searching for a location that met my primary goals of being safe, proximity of the stores and services immediately surrouning it, and customer service of the staff because it always carries over into the cleanliness of the facility. The young lady working the desk (Shae) was very helpful and made my check-in process a breeze, she provided me her best reccomendations and infomration on the food locations immediately around the location, offered my options on floor of my choice for my room selection and even provided me information on the events within the city that night and the rest of the weekend, she alone made staying here feel safe and like home which refreshing and a comfort when travelling alone as I was. The beds were super comfortable and the oversized lounging couch that folds out into a sofa-bed gave me an in-suite feel though it was just a standard hotel room. The locations is right next to the interstate and in great proximity to the major attractions (world of coke, aquarium, NFL/MLS stadium and more) thank you Shae and Sonesta for a great stay!
邓邓Close to the airport, the surrounding is relatively deserted, there is a restaurant on the upstairs. The food tastes good. You can also sit in paradise and enjoy the plane taking off and landing. The environment is good, but the bills are always unclear and always overcharged. There is a Vietnamese restaurant driving around for 3 minutes, and the price is good and affordable. The room is large and the facilities are basically complete. However, for two consecutive nights, people knocked on the door inexplicably. It is not clear who it is, and it is impossible to open the door.
GGuest UserFunny enough I'm still here at the hotel but I have to say damn! The hallway floors are dirty, the room has random hairs that aren't ours in the tub and bathroom floor. The window has handprints all over it and the outside grounds are in poor shape. The courtyard looks like where the killer lives. They need security because at night and even during the day there's unsavory characters roaming about. Also there's no access to drinking water, no fountain or filtered dispensers. The vending machine that is working has water and it's 2.50 a bottle. The juice and water machine is only available during breakfast then you're on your own. I've been passing the same pieces of trash on our hallway floor and as much as I've wanted to pick it up, on GP I can't because I'm just waiting to see if it'll still be there when I'm leaving tomorrow. Everything is out of order, vending machines, elevators, lobby women's bathroom etc. I chose this hotel because of parking, breakfast and access to downtown so I guess that was all I should be expecting. Lesson learned, sometimes you just have to spend more. Special shout out to Shay and Cambria at the front desk for being pleasant but yeah this is a no go for the future.
