Enjoyed it all so quiet n away from the noise but easy to crossover in the skybridge. Highly recommend anybody that goes here wont be disappointed

Convenient, modern accommodation with city views and from the upper floors you can see the harbour Bridge, floor to ceiling blinds and curtains, not automatic curtains.. Lighting was fine.. The hotel is right next to a television studio and while the satellite fished pointed away the two broadcast dishes pointed at the hotel.. In the rooms there seem to be No international power points and you must request free water at reception. Breakfast was okay but disappointed to find only jugs of filtered coffee and not the automatic barrista machines found at most international hotels. If you wanted your Latte it would cost extra. At $NZ45 pp I found the variety of food a little less than expected probably because the space used was restrictive , Table seating was firm and table layout was good. I found the king bed in our room a little uncomfortable for me as I prefer a hard mattress.. We were upgraded to a higher floor room by staff..what this means I am sure is just to make you feel privileged.. The rooms had a quality feel a out the. Overall I would recommend a stay here definitely .. The dinning hall has a nice feel to it.. As does the bar. Very modern building and quite attractive inside and out. Just a final note, hotels in Auckland need to lift their offerings compared to international hotels in terms of service offerings. As this hotel and others in the area are definitely aimed at international tourists.

Horizon City is centrally located with lots of nice food places and convenience shops nearby, a short walk to Viaduct Harbor, connected to SkyCity ****** and 30mins walk to Ponsoby. we got the Elite Harbor View King rooms (1002 and 1005) and they did not disappoint, views are beautiful! staff are always friendly and helpful, we love the rooms, big comfortable, modern with hot and strong showers, the only draw back is beds are on the softer side and tends to sink lower at the headboard part.
