It was my second time staying here, it was clean and the place was quiet and the staff are very accommodating.

The hotel is old , needs to be renovated. There is no ramp for disabled and luggages for entry to the hotel lobby, stairs only, however there is elevator from the lobby to all rooms. The carpet has smell which I suspected that there must be mold infestation, but the location is good , with restaurants and convenience store around. About 15-20 mins walk to Skytower Auckland. Easy for tour pick up and drop off point.

Traveling for work this time, there were three of us, and the Kiwi Hotel happened to have a triple room. It had two beds in one room and one in the other, which was enough space for us. The location is convenient, there's free parking, and it's right next to the Sky Tower. I'll definitely stay here again next time I'm in Auckland.

Small but enough. Really confortable bed and good shower preasure. Not noisy.

M The location was excellent — close to shops, cafes, and main attractions. The room was spacious, clean, and well-equipped with everything I needed for a comfortable stay. The staff were friendly and helpful throughout my visit. Great value and perfect for both short and long stays in the city. Would definitely stay here again!

Decent Budget Stay with a Few Setbacks The property is about a 25–30 minute drive from the airport via Uber, and we paid NZD 48 for the ride. Check-in was smooth ,we got our room key within 5 minutes. We booked for 2 nights and paid less than expected compared to other hotels in Auckland. The room was basic, as expected for the price. However, we had issues with the electricity ,the circuit would trip whenever we plugged in the heater provided by the hotel, making it difficult to stay warm. On our last night, the lights kept turning on and off, and we had to rely on our phone flashlights since we didn’t want to keep calling reception. On the bright side, the WiFi was strong enough to play PUBG without any problems. The location is also great , we enjoyed a morning walk to the Sky Tower and nearby parks. There are several restaurants within walking distance too. Overall, it’s okay for a short budget stay, but the electrical issues definitely need to be addressed.

Did the job, good price, great location. One downside - the room was incredibly stuffy and hot. Fans provided did little.

room is very classic, basic equippments, affordable price for single room. unfortunately very hard to sleep at night, actually 2 of 3 my stays, heard a lady staff kept talking loudly at 2-3 am at reception area or someone yelling each other at 4am...terrible. depends on room location, it will be quieter, never close to house keeping office.

Great value for the room, I can’t complain. However, I stayed there for a week and I didn’t have any wifi in my room any single day. They didn’t offer me an esim or any compensation for the inconvenience.

Basic but effective. Perfect for a short trip. Brilliant location. Bonus find: laundry room; which was so helpful on our travels!

The place is in downtown. It’s a good place to walk around town if you do not have a car. Parking is not free, you have to pay for it even its in the hotel. Very limited parking. Laundry room has 2 sets of washer and dryer. It’s a 45min wait for the dryer (high heat) and it does not dry as much, you have to dry 2x. Hotel is a bit rundown from being an international hotel. No mini-kitchenette in the room but they have common area that has a microwave and toaster but no utensils or sink for you to use. It’s just to heat your food. Our room was supposed to be family room but it’s very tight and small. Toilet looks upgraded. However there were hair strands left around the place. Stains on the sheets as well. I guess you get what you paid for. 

Clean and tidy. Pleasant staff. Very hot in the room. A fan is supplied. Quite dated
