I booked this hotel for my boss this time. He's stayed here at least ten times before, and it's consistently excellent. The lobby is probably the tallest in all of New Zealand, and the rooms have everything you need and aren't even that old. Overall, it's still fantastic!

Had a pleasant stay at the hotel. The breakfast was good, the location was convenient, and it was nice to be able to walk around and explore the CBD area.

An absolute masterpiece of Auckland real estate architecture: middle of nowhere in the middle of somewhere. Perfect downtown location: managed to be in the city center while being completely cut off from all public transportation. No bus, no train. Bring a walking stick or a healthy disrespect for your own knees. The room is huge—mostly so there's extra space for all the freezing air to circulate. The heater was purely decorative. I didn't pay for a room; I paid for hypothermia and a cold. NZ$7 for a bottle of water in the room. Even highway robbers have the decency to wear a mask. The TV screencast function is dead, much like my hope for this stay. They swapped the "Do Not Disturb" and "Please Clean" buttons. So every morning I was blessed with a surprise room service raid. 1/10. Not value for money. Value for suffering.

The location is super convenient and offers great value for money. The two large beds were a good size too. I highly recommend it for future stays. After traveling from the South Island all the way to the North Island, I found the hotels in Auckland, particularly this one, offered better value. It's also very close to the Sky Tower.

The hotel's location is excellent, the breakfast is plentiful, and the room is clean and comfortable. It offers great value for money. It's about a 15-minute walk to Queen Street. If I visit Auckland again, I'd definitely stay at this hotel.

Room was clean, lots of space. Bed relatively small compared to the space. Very nice

I have never left a negative review for a hotel on Trip.com, but this time I feel compelled to do so for this five-star hotel. First of all, the check-in experience was extremely disappointing. At the same time, I arrived, a large group of airline crew members was also checking in. However, the hotel did not provide a separate check-in counter for them, which resulted in a chaotic situation with people cutting in line. When it was finally my turn, I presented my valid New Zealand driver's licence for identification, but I was told that my reservation could not be found and was asked to provide my booking confirmation. I opened my Trip.com app to show my reservation, only to be told that the receptionist could not read Chinese. The information on the booking page mainly consists of reservation numbers, and I believe that if the receptionist had been willing to assist patiently, it should not have been difficult to locate a booking based on a series of numbers. After I pointed out the name on my reservation in the app, I was still told that there was no booking under my name. Strangely, the receptionist then handed me my room key anyway. I asked again, "So you still can't find my reservation under my name?" The answer was still "No." This leaves me wondering: if the hotel could not locate my reservation, on what basis was I checked in and issued a room key? Secondly, although this is advertised as a five-star hotel, the facilities are noticeably more dated than those of other five-star hotels in Auckland, while the room rates are certainly no lower than comparable properties. Finally, I was also disappointed with the cleanliness of the room. As shown in the attached photo, there were obvious coffee or tea stains left on the countertop in the minibar area. This level of housekeeping is simply not what I would expect from a five-star hotel.

Facilities: The facilities are quite new, and the lobby feels very spacious. The bathroom is huge and even has a bathtub, perfect for a relaxing soak to relieve fatigue. Cleanliness: The room and even the hallway railings felt dust-free, which was great. Environment: The environment is comfortable, and there's even a swimming pool. Service: Excellent service. They proactively helped carry my luggage to the room. Parking was also convenient.
