"Great budget hotel, and they even have pool, though we didn’t use it. Conveniently located just off the roadway and near shops, supermarkets and petrol station, but quiet nevertheless. The staff were very friendly and kind. We had air conditioning issues with our room on the second night and they immediately changed our room. Breakfast was good. It’s the second time we stayed here. We will come again when in the area."

"Phantastic place right below the walls of Carcassonne. Everything was impecably clean - exactly as described. The photos shown by trip-advisor absolutely reflect reality. We had an excellent two day stay in the absolute proximity of the old town. The personnel as extremely helpful and also the late check-in worked perfectly! For those arriving by car: we had no problems finding a parking place in the vicinity of the hotel, but we staeyed also in the late season beginning September."

"A first class like all the others ... But then there, dirty room, many hairs present on the mattress pad, 1 pillow per person, flat pillow ... So pillows that did not do their first function. Non-existent heating, 17 degrees in the room, air conditioning not adjustable on the hot part, and heating disconnected. It was really a stopgap ... But at 32€ per night it was to be expected"

"Wonderful hotel in a real chateau, with all the terrific ambiance that entails. Great welcome, with Romain speaking fluent English. Fabulous restaurant in the courtyard of the hotel, with attentive waiters (Xavier in particular). Scrumptious dishes (only exception was the ceviche, a bit lacking in flavor). We hope to return for the holidays, Christmas and New Year's."
