The rooms were decent, but there was mold in the windows. The staff was friendly but lacked organization. When we arrived, there was no one at reception, which has a bad reputation. They took a while to check us in and informed us that we couldn’t check in until 2 p.m. despite our arrival just before 2 p.m. I explained that we had an early check-in request, and they apologized. We also wanted to extend our check-out time since we were out until 10 or 11 p.m. They agreed to the late check-out, but then they charged us £10 extra. I was confused, but I accepted the fee. However, when we checked out at 12 p.m. on the day of our departure, they banged on our door and demanded that we leave immediately because it was past 12 p.m. I reminded them that we had a late checkout and presented the invoice, but they didn’t seem to be aware of this. They didn’t offer any apologies or compensation for waking us up. Apart from these issues, the overall experience was satisfactory.
