One of my clients stayed here and loved every moment. The history of the hotel is impressive, owned at one time by Napoleon, to witch trials being held on the grounds. The area is quiet and the staff is friendly and the food is delectable, this was one of the only facilities that served a Schwarzwalder Kirsch torte (this is not an American German Chocolate cake). The hotel swimming pool is approximately 4 feet deep and is not heated. It is extremely refreshing. The biggest downfall that my client stated was that one could not park ones car near the rooms but one could drive within the castle walls to drop off ones luggage. Parking is free at a lot just across the moat bridge. There is also little cafe just outside the walls. Overall this would be a location that my client would love to go back to.

Kaum angekommen und wir waren schon begeistert. Hübsche Schlossanlage. Nach dem Schwimmen ein sehr leckeres Abendessen. Und das Zimmer erfüllt unsere Erwartungen. Das Personal ist sehr zu loben für die gute Betreuung.

Das Personal ist sehr freundlich und hilfsbereit. Unser Zimmer (deluxe) war gut. Der Wellness Bereich hat uns gefallen. Das Wasser im Galerie Schwimmbecken war angenehm für uns. Das Frühstücksbuffet war sehr lecker und hat uns auch gut gefallen. Am Abend gab es täglich eine Auswahl an Speisen die sehr lecker waren. Die Umgebung ist sehr schön für Menschen die gerne in der Natur sind. Beim Fahrradverleih sollte man kein Fahrrad ohne Motor leihen, da diese nicht gut sind. Die Massage (Rücken- Nackenmassage) die wir hatten war sehr angenehm und hat viele Verspannungen gelöst. Vielen Dank für die schöne Zeit.

Wir haben uns rundum wohlgefühlt. Ein Aufenthaltsraum fehlt leider noch, allerdings haben wir das mit dem Restaurant gut geregelt. Dazu kam, dass wir auch die Terrasse nutzen konnten. Speisen waren ok, ein bisschen mehr Auswahl wäre gut, vor allem wenn man mehr als drei Nächte dort verweilt. Frühstücksbüffet auch sehr gut.

Wenn mann mit einem Hund anreist bekommt man ein ziemlich dreckigen Zimmer obwohl man 20€ Aufschlag bezahlt. Die Stühle im Zimmer waren so verdreckt dass mann sich nicht drauf setzen konnte.
Dass früstück war gut es gab reichlich Auswahl.
