Studio Haus East 6th Austin by Kasa

Wet floor at check in. Room not fully ready. Notification of the in room washer not working after arrival. WiFi stopped working so they relocated me to another room but that door would not lock. Frustrating to experience.

It was just an overnight trip. It was by a lot of bars. Parking was weird. There's parking garage and you have to pay through an app. And you can't park overnight at the parking that's under it. It was very confusing.

Loved the location and ease of check-in. It was a little loud at night, but that should be expected due to the area. They even provided a white noise machine and ear plugs. Only issue was parking. I was under the impression I could use their lot which was not the case. I parked across the street which ended up being $45/day which I wasn't planning on spending. Just note that parking is not guaranteed and street parking is near impossible.

It was a great stay! Had everything I needed and super clean. Its a loud area, but worth it to be in the center of everything

Not set up for handicap accommodations. Grab bars in bathroom were loose and very dangerous. Toilet seat not secured. No place to hang clothes. Do not stay here if you are traveling for business or a wedding, or any function that would require nice clothes. The only place available to hang them is over the back of a chair! I understand not having a dedicated closet, but at least install a hook on the wall. Parking not included. Plan on another $30-$35 / night to park assuming you find a place to park.

Ac didn’t work, you get connected to an answering service from a foreign country and no one can do anything to help until staff arrive between 2-6 pm. By then we headed home. Couldn’t even imagine showering and sweating all over again. It was literally cooler outside than inside. My husband slept on a patio couch like a homeless person. I just sweat my ass off.

The parking is a rip off-paid for 2 hours and then we left to go to a wedding. Then we paid more than twice that for the overnight fee when we returned. They wanted to charge a ridiculous amount to check in one hour early. It was advertised as having a kitchen which consisted of a mini fridge and hot water kettle-not even a microwave. The front desk person was rude/indifferent. And there was thumping music from the restaurant across the street until midnight. I will NEVER stay in a Kasa property again!!

Only real complaint is that the “fitness center” was a bench with dumbbells only going up to 25lbs. I think that could have been communicated better in pictures, etc, but overall it was a great location, great price, and nice place.

Unit was lovely and Location was great but expect lots of loud noise until very late due to neighboring bar. You will be able to clearly hear and feel the vibrations from the music next door.
