"Came to Catalina Island for one day of meetings and booked this property at the last minute. It does not disappoint. It's not right in the main part of Avalon but it is nice to be a little bit outside of the busy-ness and you feel like you are nestled in nature. The property is in really good shape, staff are very friendly and the restaurant was great for both dinner and breakfast."

"I had high expectations, but it was just average in most aspects. The room was indeed very small. Although I booked the most basic room, it felt like poor value for money at over $400. It was a bit far from the island's attractions, but thankfully there was a shuttle service. The staff were friendly and chill, but it was inconvenient that I couldn't get through on the phone often, and the internet wasn't very stable. Overall, it was just okay. I probably wouldn't stay here again."

"Location: The location is excellent, very convenient for getting around. The beach is within walking distance, and the slope in front of the hotel offers beautiful views as you walk down. Service: Although the front desk service was a bit slow, the staff were very friendly and had a great attitude. Facilities: The room felt old and the lighting was dim. Hygiene: It didn't feel very clean."

"I was torn to write a review because I don’t want the entire world to know about the best kept secret on the island. This is the only place you need to stay in Catalina. The location is in the heart of everything. The rooms were clean and the beds were amazing. We loved they have beach chairs to use and are steps from a beach. John was so nice and exceeded expectations. The breakfast and afternoon wine and cheese were a fantastic touch. We can’t wait to come back and stay again."
