The room is OK and clean. Not too charming and it was a suite with a terrace... No view. Far from the beach. Average reception. Breakfast is very disappointing!!! Classic worthy of a low-cost hotel. The lunch staff not up to the standard of the hotel (who goes out to smoke and drink outside during the service, who waits sitting for the time to pass with the cell phone). I am disappointed with this "best western". I do not recommend it, especially at double the price in high season.

it is a hotel made up of 2 buildings separated by a street, without any indication of the reception desk. The reception is incredibly casual by the receptionist, particularly unpleasant, absolutely unprofessional, this person, who seems bored, points at you in the direction of the breakfast room, the swimming pool, the room; ours located on the other side of the busy street,. This room located on the ground floor and equipped with a living room, closes at the bay window level, but not by the shutters, (broken closure), although it is accessible from the street... On the living room level, it does not There is no electric back and forth for the lighting, you have to come back from the room to turn it off. On the bathroom side, no towel rack or towel dryer, just a sink, a toilet where you have to put the towels, the open shower, just a small side wall, no heating provided for the bathroom. The breakfast room: small, the tables touch each other, the range of products minimal, unremarkable, the coffee machine works with knocks, the lady on duty absent or, super discreet! The next morning for our departure, no one at reception, after ringing several times as indicated, we had to call the hotel by telephone so that a new receptionist finally arrived; this one, friendly, tried to excuse the unacceptable behavior of her colleague with arguments that are inadmissible for professional staff. Fortunately, only one night was booked, and we will not return to this hotel, whose service does not live up to what is expected of a hotel qualified as 3 stars, and of a Best Western chain. As for my ranking for your stars, I put 1 star, because you did not expect the 0 star

The hotel is sober, chic and very clean. The suite is very pleasant and spacious. The bedding is comfortable although a little too soft for my taste. We just forgot to ask if we could close the exterior wooden shutters because the certainly magnificent linen curtains are not blackout. The breakfast is quite correct without being extraordinary either, positive point the Corsican jams, negative point the hot chocolate which like all instant hot chocolates in the machine is really not of quality and surprised not to have fresh fruit notably no Corsican clementines even though it was the season. Breakfast is taken in a room near the swimming pool, outside the hotel, but even in December, the very mild weather meant that this morning outing did not pose a problem. The hotel was very calm and quiet, just like the town of Calvi at this time of year, but we probably enjoy it all the more! No bottle of water in the room but a dispenser in the entrance hall (with prices worthy of an airport), but all the shops are nearby. Regarding the welcome, the young women we dealt with were very courteous and smiling. On the other hand, I discovered on this site the tone of certain responses from the managers which would very probably have put me off if I had read them before booking.... notably revealing the identity of a customer who nevertheless gave 4 stars just because that she allows herself to make a negative remark (even if the remark was unjustified), it's really not very professional! Too bad these readings give me an image of the hotel which does not correspond to the very good feeling during my stay.

Excellent position. Renovated and modern structure (except for the fixtures and shutters). Large, modern shower. In the bathroom there is also a hairdryer and shower gel and soap without bottles. The toilet in another tiny room without windows and ventilation is less beautiful and practical. Comfortable bed and very large room. The small balcony was also nice, but it lacked a drying rack or similar. Indoor (hydromassage) and outdoor swimming pool are very nice and appreciated. Free parking in front of the room. We didn't take advantage of the €12 breakfast as it was a bit expensive in our opinion. The receptionists only speak French (apparently).
