We had a short stay of 3 nights, not knowing the area or the hotel and were very pleased with the hotel. We had half board (or 3/4 if you include the potential afternoon snack) and the food and service were excellent, very good breakfasts with plenty of fresh fruit and pastries. Dinner was excellent with again good choice. Room (we had one of the Suites) was clean and good size with good shower and lighting. Spa looked fairly new and it was nice they had jacuzzi outside plus the sensory experience walking through the stream (note clothes seemed optional in the saunas!). Location was very good - there are easier local walks from the hotel very scenic and it's only a 5 minute drive (or bus) up to the cable car for the mountain walks. All the staff were very friendly, obliging and happy. Nice outdoor areas to relax. Parking outside which is probably better than trying to squeeze into the spaces in the underground car park. Can recommend this welcoming and personal hotel in a wonderful location.

Rarely, if ever, has it been so difficult for us to leave because it was an incredibly wonderful vacation. One of the things that convinced us to book at the beginning was the great service from reception. Big compliments to all the staff and big compliments to the great facilities, the attention to detail in every nook and cranny, everything extraordinarily well thought out and every meal a feast for the palate. We have never experienced anything to complain about and we have been to many hotels, the Viertler is by far one of the better if not the nicest we have ever been to, simply because everything was just right! Thank you very much for this experience, we will be back very soon if they are not already fully booked because with this service everyone will definitely want to come back :)

We went on holiday for the first time on the recommendation of friends. So we were a little skeptical when we came up to Hafling. However, it was pleasantly quiet and cooler there than in the hot and crowded Merano. We were assigned a great, spacious and modern Garden Suite with direct access to the pool. The house has a new wellness area. There are always fresh drinks and snacks as well as sauna towels in abundance. We enjoyed excellent food with extremely attentive, friendly and efficient service. The house is in a great location for starting hikes and/or bike tours. Bus stops are also practically "on the doorstep". The Viertler is not too big and family-run. Just as we would like it. We would love to come back.

Het is een fantastisch hotel. Rustig , zeer goed en vriendelijk personeel . De eigenaar werkt zelf mee en is zeer vriendelijk. Een omgeving waar je helemaal tot rust komt , culinaire keuken , heerlijke wijnen. We komen er zeker terug !

Siamo tornati dopo un'anno e devo dire che se la prima volta avevamo soggiornato per una sola notte ed eravamo rimasti pienamente soddisfatti, questa volta avendoci soggiornato per 5 notti l'hotel non ha disilluso le nostre aspettative....anzi.... Location sempre splendida, in una posizione ottima, tranquilla a pochi km dalla città di Merano e a pochissimi dalla funivia che porta a Merano 2000. Ambiente pulitissimo, personale sempre gentile col sorriso e pronto a soddisfare ogni tuo desiderio. Piscina e SPA bellissime, non molto grande la SPA ma comunque adeguata alla struttura. Ci sono anche un paio di sale relax dove il silenzio regna assoluto. Colazione e buffet ricchissimi e con prodotti di qualità, cena sempre a livello di un ristorante stellato, complimenti allo chef che abbiamo saputo essere un ragazzo giovanissimo. Camera pulitissima e con una bella terrazza con vista sulle dolomiti. Rapporto qualità prezzo IMBATTIBILE. Che dire ci siamo trovati talmente bene che abbiamo prenotato già una camera per il prossimo anno. Assolutamente consigliato
