unsatisfactory stay for the second time, i wont be back. was completely ignored at reception on arriving at the hotel. local management need to learn a thing or two about customer service. other problems ensued that werent resolved after multiple interventions. then i was told i needed to leave the room and wait at reception which i wasnt prepared to do so i just left. this is the second time this hotel has failed me... it wont be happeing a third time.

Great hotel for location. Staff are friendly. Breakfast was good value. Parking in the evening was difficult as a lot of workers use the hotel so it gets full pretty quickly mid week with their work vans etc. This hotel has only been opened a few years and I was expecting the room to be pristine however, it was really shabby. Scuffs all up the walls, marks on the furniture. Bathroom paint was flaking and the black mould around the bath and amenities was quite off putting. Asked for our room to be cleaned mid stay but they just changed towels. No clean cups for tea/coffee. Bathroom surfaces were not wiped down. If you can get a good deal then this hotel suits a short stay but the housekeeping team lets it down.

Would stay here again. The hotel was in a great location but certain things about the hotel let it down. The cleanliness of the hotel room and bathroom and other parts of the hotel needing attention. Wi-Fi was bad in the room. Was not let know you could buy super fast Wi-Fi. The buffet breakfast was the best part of our stay at the hotel

Visited for two nights over the weekend. Hotel position is on the edge of Aviemore. Fine if you like a walk. Carpark is free which nowadays is a blessing. There’s more than enough spaces. Hotel is much like any premier in. Room was warm and clean and windows kept any noise to a minimum. On second morning we asked for the room to be cleaned. Staff member was a little resistant to this but in the end said the towels would be changed and rubbish removed. On return this hadn’t happened. Spoke to reception who basically called my wife a liar when she said that she had put the”I’ve asked reception to clean my room” sign on the door. Also bath had no plug so couldn’t use the bath. The shower however was really good both powerful and hot. If you’re wanting a cheap trip it’s maybe worth a visit but keep your expectations low.

We stayed one night in Feb as a family of four (2 adults, a 3 year old and 6 month old). The hotel and staff were very nice. We had requested a cot in the room and I had checked on arrival that this was the case which they assumed it was but to get back to them if it wasn’t. When we arrived it was a king and two singles. We didn’t raise it as we managed to make it work but would have been good if the staff had checked in advance. Room was great for what we needed, beds very comfy and shower was amazing although lever for putting shower on was missing. Tea and coffee facilities and a station at the stairs/lift on ground floor to help yourself to more tea coffee sugar etc if you ran out. Breakfast in the morning was delicious. We opted for the full premier inn breakfast which was buffet style hot and continental. Perfect for adults and children alike. My only complaint was there seemed to be no decaf options and a constant queue for the toaster. Check in and out was easy. Had a small issue with premier inn in general that when I amended my booking to add breakfast I lost my early check in and had to phone to amend again and paid more.

Had a pleasant 1 night stay here recently. We got a great deal with free breakfast, which was very tasty indeed. Rooms are your typical Premier Inn rooms, with everything you need for a quick 1 night stay. The room was clean on arrival, however as it was at the back, it was quite dark, with no phone signal and poor TV channel options. Not perfect, but we were only there for 1 night. Bar and restaurant area very welcoming Free onsite parking, but it does get busy, so arrive early to get a space.

This was my first visit to a Premier Inn and I hold my hands up to having secured it at a very reasonable price for 2 people with the added bonus of free cooked breakfasts thrown in as well. First impressions upon arrival were good – the building seemed clean and inviting and the staff were very nice. Our twin room was tiny. Set up was a double bed and a small and uncomfortable couch bed. The whole room seemed designed to discourage guests from spending any more time in it than was absolutely necessary. But it was cheap and for one night should have been absolutely fine. The room was superficially clean but lacked some finishing touches, e.g. the bath needed going over to remove product residue and watermarks. I was actually surprised to see a bath in a new build hotel rather than a walk-in shower but guess there must be a reason for this. No actual “window” in room – just fixed glass panels so no natural ventilation. There was air conditioning however which came with instructions on how to vary the room temperature. Total waste of time and effort – transpired that guests are not empowered to set their own room temperature; reception has control over all the rooms so you need to ask them to adjust things on their master control panel. Wish I was kidding. No mobile signal in rooms and very patchy signal in communal ground floor areas. Upper floor corridors are very narrow. I am honestly surprised that they conform to fire regulations. But what finished me off was the fact that when we left the room in the morning to go down to breakfast a note had been slipped into the doorframe to advise that no hot breakfast option was available that day. Continental breakfast was available - pretty basic but plentiful. Dining room was also very small and cramped – think it could get very busy in high season. Stripped the beds before departure (a habit I have hung onto from the covid travel era) to discover a blood stain and a large “liquid” stain on the mattress protector on the double bed. Yuck!
