Having had a decent lunch the day before we decided to have an evening meal there the next day. We had scampi and steak pie, both were very tasty, well cooked and presented. Faultless, certainly better than standard pub grub.

We stayed at the Hawkchurch Resort near the village and visited the Old Inn twice, once for dinner and once for Sunday lunch. The food and service are excellent, highly recommended all round. We had Fish and Chips and Burgers on our first visit and Roast Beef and Roast Pork on our second. 8 clear plates says it all and make sure you leave room for dessert!
