"This has been such a fantastic holiday for our family. The location is excellent with direct access to the beach, which was beautiful and quiet. The hotel is modern, exceptionally clean and well kept. Our room was spacious and with everything you would need, it was cleaned daily to a great standard. (We slept so well we nearly missed breakfast a couple of times!!). We stayed at half board and found the food nice with lots to choose from both at breakfast and dinner. The drinks were reasonably priced so half board was a great option for us. The pool area was always very clean with a great atmosphere. This was my children's first experience with a 'kids club' and they thoroughly enjoyed their experience there when they went. There was a variety of activities for adults to have a go at too and the staff who ran them were very approachable and engaging. The staff were ALL so kind and friendly - truly! We've been lucky to stay at some lovely hotels and enjoy trying new places but this was the first time myself and my children all said we would definitely come back. I would recommend for anyone wanting a relaxing break away, the area is quiet this time of year apparently but this was perfect for us."

"To nitpick... we ordered a coffee at 8:00 AM, and it was only served if you ordered the full breakfast (€20). There was no other option because the cafeteria was closed and there were no vending machines. Mr. Receptionist, if a lady asks for just a coffee and there's no option, I'll go to the buffet and serve it myself as a courtesy from the hotel, and I'll be a gentleman. Just because of this, I will probably NEVER RETURN TO THIS PARADOR."

"Stayed for 5 nights with my 15 year old daughter. Booked through love holidays, where we flew into Seville. No transport included and therefore had to take 2 coaches and a ferry boat (4 hours) to get to the hotel (not sure why they didn’t fly us into Porto). However once we were there we were very impressed with the hotel, very luxurious, room was spacious and clean. The whole hotel was very clean. The pool was great and for the majority of the time we were there, there were very few young families and therefore we got a lie in and our pick of sun beds! On our last day, the hotel was swarmed by teenage and pre teen boys (some sort of football tournament), thankfully it was our last day so didn’t bother us but if it had been for the entirety of our trip it would have been a nightmare given my daughter was the only teen girl there! The staff were all very friendly and we made use of google translate to communicate. There isn’t a huge amount in the area but we enjoyed what there was, walks, tapas and the fab little train that gives you a 40 min tour. Overall we’d give the holiday 8/10."
