Nelia Beach Hotel & Spa

I stayed here with my Wife and 9 year old daughter, early May 2023. Our opionion is that this hotel is well run, clean, well maintained and a nice place to visit. Bedroom comfort was good, our room had a large sea view balcony which as well as the usual two chairs and a table also had two sun beds. The seaview rooms lost the sun early afternoon, during our stay it was warm so this didn't matter. The only issue we had was neighbouring rooms - we had noisy neighbours and loud voices during the night could be heard together with slamming doors and echoing corridors this became annoying. We stayed All Inclusive and had no complaints regaring the choice of drinks or service, all the staff were fantastic and friendly. Food quality again was in our opinion good, usually hot and plently of choice, a few odd choices during breakfast perhaps but all pretty good. The coffee was a bit of an acquired taste, the machines make it from beans and it was quite an intense roast. The pool area was well maintained, quite a few sunbeds and we always managed to find one, however they were quite packed in. The hotels location is in a great location with a walk to the beach taking a few minutes, regarding the beach we were suprised how good it was, light coloured fine sand and aside from the bit near the harbour hardly any stones in the sea. The only issue we had was the lack of toilets at ground level, either at the pool or reception. Both pool and reception toilets are located down a flight of stairs and only the reception ones can be access by one of the lifts. Overall, we'd recommend this hotel and would stay here again.

Nelia Beach Hotel, is a fantastic 4 star hotel to stay in, it is situated nicely in Ayia Napa, on the beach front and very close to the harbour. It has all the amenities that you require from your hotel. It is very clean and kept that way. All the staff were amazing, friendly and very helpful, especially Andria Vatis, the guest relations officer, she was 1st class in her role, arranged everything that my wife and myself required, she really went above and beyond, a truly amazing and awesome service from her. The food was excellent, with plenty of variety to choose from. One of the head chefs Panicos, was also very friendly and helpful, he would prepare any special food, if you have dietary problems or allergies to any ingredients, Panicos, like Andria is very approachable and so very helpful, another 1st class service. The pool area of the hotel is enjoyable, with plenty of sunbeds and sun parasols and also kept to a high cleanliness standard, there is also a veranda with more sunbeds and parasols. The Spa, massage treatment, indoor pool and gymnasium area is another wonderful place to visit, here you also have wonderful, friendly and helpful staff, especially Marielena, who also gave 1st class service to my wife and myself. Both the Main Bar and Pool Bar served a variety of drinks, local and imported, served once again by friendly and helpful staff, especially Theo, who always remembered what i was drinking, another 1st class service from Theo. My wife and I, had a tremendous 11 days stay at the Nelia and we would truly recommend this hotel to anyone, wishing to stay in Ayia Napa, our experience there, is one that we will treasure forever. The service they provide us, was outstanding. My wife had her 60th Birthday whilst staying there, on return to our hotel room, after a sea cruise, a suprise awaited her, from and with compliments of the hotel, in the form of a Birthday Cake, a Birthday Card and a Bottle of Wine, she was overwhelmed by the gift. Also after a slight accident my wife had, Andria Vatis, with management approval, arranged for a plate of Fruit, a bottle of Wine and a Get Well Soon Note, delivered to our room, as another surprise for my wife, she was overwhelmed again by this caring generosity. On the day of our departure, our luggage was looked after, in the luggage room by a lovely young man called Bugra, he is also friendly and provides a 1st class service. The reception staff were amazing on both our arrival and departure. My Wife and Myself had an excellent and memorable stay at the Nelia Beach Hotel and we truly Recommend it. Myself, hubby and 2 grandchildren visited from 6th to 13th May, and we loved the hotel. Our room was fantastic with a large balcony, sea view. and Cabana bed. The hotel is in a fantastic location right on the beach near the harbour. The food was plentiful and there was themed evenings each night. The hotel is located close to bars, shops and restaurants etc but far enough away to get a good nights sleep. The only thing missing from me giving this a 5 star review was the lack of daytime entertainment for adults and children. My husband likes to join in with the usual water polo, darts etc, but there was nothing except aqua aerobics. This was the same everyday, and the entertainer didn’t speak at all or interact with guests. The evening entertainment was ok, and if this could be improved, along with daytime entertainment, then this could be a fantastic hotel. The manager was lovely, as were all staff, especially when I had a fall, fractured my elbow and sprained my foot. Nothing was too much trouble and they kindly organised an ambulance to hospital, wheelchair hire, and room service. Would I book this hotel again, Absolutely yes!!

The staff here are fabulous so nice especially the waiting staff and bar staff housekeeping cleaned our room every day they were so nice. The food was very nice loved the mint sauce and lamb, and the fact they have lurpak is a thumbs up from me. Drinks at bar are fine. Room was ok size for 3adults 1child. Snackbar you had to order from menu eg wraps pizza chips. Got a voucher some days to get a sunbed for the beach area at the kaliva restaurant opposite hotel at no cost. The mezzanine area was great for sunbathing shame there was no bar up there. Only thing didn’t like was there was no no smoking area at the food /evening area outside although under a canopy it seemed everyone around us chain smoked and when you are asthmatic it was a irritant so we ended not watching entertainment or going inside. It would be good to have a smoke free section outside maybe at the back of seating area.

Enjoyed are stay at nelia beach entertainment was amazing and loved the swimming pool staff were also friendly and helpful and the hotel was clean and tidy and food was good to will be coming back and also short walking distance to bars, shops and beach

Currently here. Excellent hotel. Clean and food is lovely. Something for all. Staff are amazing. Work hard with a smile on faces. Great welcome on arrival. Young blonde waiter is excellent. Always so helpful. We have a grandchild with us who has autism and they have Bern so accommodating. Even tonight got us cereal because he's not eating well due to his fads. Highly recommend and will def return.

We had a lovely holiday here , the hotel is so clean , the food is lovely and there is lots of choice , the entertainment was brilliant every night , I wouldn’t hesitate in recommending this hotel , it’s nice and central as well , the staff all work so hard 😎

Absolutely amazing stay at this hotel, tried to break my review up below to help people :) Hotel Lobby/Grounds - absolutely spotlessly clean! Very modern! Room - again very very clean! Really modern. Kettle in there with chocolates and coffee. Walk in shower that was lovely as in some hotels the water pressure isn't very good but it was perfect. Absolutely love that the bathroom has a blue light so if you need it in the middle of the night the bright light doesn't wake you up or hurt your eyes - really nice touch! Beds are very comfy. We had a sea view room and would recommend paying for it because it was beautiful! TV in the room too with some English channels on. Pool - Main pool is a bit deep so just be careful if you're not a good swimmer but again it's really well looked after. The separate children's section was perfect for my toddler! He loved all the fountains and tipping buckets! Lifeguard sits by the children's bit not the main pool so again if you're not a confident swimmer I'd stay in the shallow bit. The sun loungers are very comfy - better than your average ones! Didn't use the indoor pool or spa so can't comment on those. Staff - very very friendly and polite. Always smiling at you! Will go out of their way to help you. They helped me arrange a surprise cake for my husband's 30th (20 euros but the cake was delicious so definitely worth the price) and brought it to the table with sparklers absolutely amazing! Restaurant/Food - I don't understand why there are people saying the food isn't good. I've stayed in lots of hotels and the food here was to a very high quality. I'm a very fussy eater and even I managed to find something to eat. Tex mex night was particularly good as they had pork fajitas, chilli con carne, chicken enchiladas and also did Italian night too with Bolognese/pizza/carbonara. There's a fresh salad bar at lunch and dinner too and it all tastes really fresh and lovely. Cakes are also delicious especially the chocolate one. There's not as much as a choice as other hotels but the food is to a high standard and I'd rather quality over quantity! Also at dinner time staff come round and take drinks orders and bring them to your table! There's also sometimes a live piano player whilst you're eating which was really nice. Drinks - I didn't drink much as I travelled with my 2 year old but the few cocktails I had were lovely. Beach - Really good proximity to the beach and the beach is stunning. Clear water and sand is good for sand castles! The only one thing I'd say is that the hotel is so modern and upmarket that I expected the kids club bit to be too but it's a bit rundown and the playground is 2 little Wendy houses and a see saw. But that's the only minor issue. I would 100% stay here again and it was my first time in Cyprus.
