Excelent spacious apartments, not classic hotel room

Our eighth visit—and the Loutsiana still feels like home This was our eighth stay at the Loutsiana Hotel Apartments, although our first since 2019. After seven years away, it was lovely to return and find that the friendly, relaxed atmosphere we remembered had not changed. We stayed in Room 719, which was bright and spacious, with a comfortable bed, sofa, kitchenette, air conditioning and a pleasant patio where we enjoyed lunch, coffee and an evening nightcap. The Loutsiana may not have the grandeur of some of the newer hotels nearby, but that is exactly why we prefer it. It is smaller, quieter and has much more character. The pool area was clean and attractive, with plenty of sunbeds during our September stay. There were also some comfortable covered seating areas beside the pool. Naturally, the most popular beds were claimed early on some mornings, but we never failed to find somewhere suitable. Breakfast was included on this visit and offered a good selection of cooked food, cereals, bread, cheese and cold meats. The quality varied slightly from day to day, and the tea was not particularly memorable, but there was always enough choice to start the day well. The hotel restaurant and bar have the relaxed atmosphere of a traditional Cypriot taverna rather than a formal hotel dining room. We ate there several times and particularly enjoyed the Saturday barbecue. There was an excellent choice of freshly cooked meats, salads, pitta bread, dips and desserts, including several varieties of baklava. The regular drinks voucher—eight drinks for €29 during our stay—also represented reasonable value. Evening entertainment was provided on several nights and varied in quality, as hotel entertainment often does. One visiting cabaret couple, with singing, juggling, trumpets and hula hoops, gave one of the best hotel performances we have seen. Another singer was not quite to our taste, but you cannot please everyone. Our only practical warning concerns the walk-in shower. The tray is extremely shallow and has a loose plug. During one shower, the flowing water carried the plug back into the drain, causing the tray to overflow into the apartment. We would recommend removing the plug completely and placing it somewhere safely away from the shower. The location suited us very well. There is a supermarket nearby and a bus stop close to the hotel, making it easy and inexpensive to travel into Ayia Napa, the harbour, local beaches and the Sculpture Park. The hotel is far enough from the busiest part of Ayia Napa to remain peaceful. Reception was also helpful when our airport transfer was scheduled for 10.30 p.m. We were able to keep our room until 10.00 p.m. for €60. This allowed us to enjoy a final day beside the pool, shower, change and pack without spending twelve hours living out of our suitcases. For us, it was worth every cent. Called for a meal with my wife.... The food was terrible frozen chips .. frozen fish... Pork Kebab's were all fat absolutely disgusting never again....

Having been here about 7 times before we really had a lovely stay. The staff are so friendly and helpful. The rooms are spotless and get cleaned every day. Pool was nice although at times a little busy but in August to be expected. Good location to explore. Booked again for 2027 but going in beginning of September this time. Would highly recommend this place.

It is a place we would happily come back to We had an amazing stay at Loutsiana Apartments and would highly recommend it to anyone visiting Cyprus. First of all, we would like to thank the fantastic housekeeping team and the restaurant staff. They are the people who take care of you from the beginning of your stay until the very end, and they truly made us feel at home. Everyone was kind, welcoming, hardworking, and always greeted us with a smile. The food was absolutely delicious every single day, with a great variety and excellent quality. Our room was always spotless, clean, and very well maintained. The entire hotel was cozy, relaxing, and had a warm, friendly atmosphere that made our holiday even more enjoyable. Another great advantage is the location. The bus stop is right in front of the hotel, making it very easy to travel around and explore the area without any hassle. The only small downside was that some guests still reserved the sun loungers by the pool early in the morning by leaving their towels on them, even when they were not using them. Of course, this is not the hotel's fault, but it is something we noticed. Overall, we had a fantastic experience and would happily return. I have just returned home from my third time at this hotel. It is in a fantastic area with great bar staff. Very kind attentive and friendly. The rooms are lovely great air con and are always kept clean and tidy. The pool Is clean and lovely although closes at 6pm which could be extended a tad. The pool is not the biggest and on a Sunday as it is open to the public this restricts quite a bit of the area for the paying guests as it tends to fill with families. When we arrived and 15:40 we were told our room was not ready which considering check out is at 12 and we had just arrived from a 5 hour flight was a bug bear. As we were waiting another couple arrived and were given their key immediately when this was addressed we were then given our room so unsure what we were actually waiting for? We then payed 20 euros for our safe 5 is refundable upon check out. We were due to leave for the night when we went to access our money in the safe and this would not unlock and was dead of power. The batteries needed changing, rang reception and they were adamant we entered the wrong code and eventually agreed to send someone who confirmed batteries had run out but said he would change “if it happened again”. Shock two days later the same issue happens again so we called reception, he arrived to turn it back on and said he would “change batteries tomorrow morning” informed him we will no longer use the safe as it’s our last day and don’t want to wait in the room for this to be sorted. When eating breakfast the following morning we were approached and asked to go to reception which we did. They informed us if we wait in the room they will sort the safe, which yes it is good they were resolving the issue although if this was done the first time there would not be any back and forth. I informed the gentleman with glasses on reception that we no longer require the safe as it is our last day we don’t want to be waiting in the room and we want to go out and enjoy as this is the third occasion this has happened . I was absolutely shocked to be met with the response “well that’s what safes are for”. I don’t believe safes are there to stop you accessing your belongings completely 3 times during your holiday when you put the code in you should have your belongings. I get that the batteries died but replace them as soon as they go. We have previously tipped this gentleman during our stay in previous years so this was a massive shock the abrasive and quite rude response, no apology. The waterpark is a two minute walk down the road and there is a bust stop outside which takes you anywhere. Entertainment most nights which improved each year we return. I would still recommend this hotel to others this review is mainly for the attention of the hotel for future incidents like this.

Absolutely lovely place! The pool was amazing and the surrounding garden and deckchairs were great to sit around and chill. The rooms were spotless and cleaned everyday! The staff were lovely and the onsite restaurant was very good. Breakfast was very decent and the food menu was varied with a lot of great choices at a reasonable price.
