Anyone who relies on the information on available rooms on Booking.de and spends some time on the way there trying to get hold of someone by phone may end up like us. When we got there, the reception was occupied, there were a few spontaneous guests there who didn't want to eat in the hotel but were staying overnight and snatched the last room from under your nose. When we asked how it could be that there were still 2 free rooms on the internet and no one answered the phone for the last few hours, we were met with a shrug of the shoulders. It's a shame for the hotel, we would have liked to have stayed there and left our money for food in the hotel and not spent it abroad. The hotel that was recommended to us instead and where the other guests wanted to go to eat had no rooms left, but there was still space to eat. We then had to leave and after a long drive, thank God, we ended up in the Hüttenmühle. We will avoid this hotel for road trips in the future, because contacting customers by phone leads to overwhelm, which we don't understand.
