The hotel and its grounds are huge and inviting for a stroll. The reception staff were friendly at check-in, but at check-out, they seemed less concerned that the guest was dissatisfied. There is an outdoor pool in the main building, as well as a spa area and sauna. The spa treatments were excellent. The food in the restaurant in the main building was buffet style, with only the appetizers served directly at the table. It was delicious. The menu at the Pferdestall restaurant was limited and unfortunately not suitable for allergy sufferers. There were no alternatives, which made it a frustrating evening. It's a shame that the hotel had reported its allergies in advance, so they could let it be known that eating there would be a problem. Breakfast was available with a selection and was perfectly fine. The bar isn't that big, so we couldn't get a seat on the first evening. The drinks selection is good. Parking is available, but for a fee. The room was disappointing – the bathroom was very small, and the closet only had hangers and a shelf. It was fine for a weekend. The bed was fine. It's a shame we had already booked a superior room. There is unlikely to be a repeat visit.

We have been guests at this fundamentally beautiful place 12 times in the last 8 years. I would personally consider myself a regular guest. Over these eight years, we have experienced that the quality could not be maintained in certain nuances, despite rising prices, which has various causes, starting with the shortage of skilled workers. The coronavirus pandemic has also left its mark on the hotel. We have always been understanding of all this and have never complained. The staff always tried their best, and we were simply grateful that we could come. Our daily work demands a lot from us, and I always looked forward to the little break. Friends and family have also visited this place on our recommendation and enjoyed the hotel with its unique ambiance and wonderful spa area. The hotel is ideal for holding pleasant family celebrations, which we have often observed. We have also observed that supposedly very wealthy and even well-known people exhibited questionable behavior and downright harassed the staff. The staff are obviously required to fulfill these people's every wish, even if it means infringing on other guests, and to let them get away with general rules that other guests adhere to. That's what we experienced last weekend. I had invited my sons and their partners to spend the weekend together and was really looking forward to it. We've had a difficult few months behind us and a break was good for all of us. That weekend a large family was celebrating a baptism with around 70 adults and 45 children. On the only full day that you can spend on a booked two-night weekend, the wellness and pool area was no longer available to all other guests. From midday onwards, all the children were there, abusing the pool as a water park, with parents passing cocktails and beers to each other while standing in the pool. With children jumping into the pool and adults standing in the pool with drinks in their hands, swimming was out of the question. There was a hell of a noise and one by one the other guests left the area. Children were also running around the sauna area as if it were a playground. A complaint was received, and they apologized, but they explained that this was a wealthy family, and they had booked half the hotel. The next day, I paid the full price for the stay for six people, including full board, drinks, and treatments, and received a thank you for my understanding. I would have expected a bit more at this point; I actually considered myself a regular. I'm so sad because right now I can't imagine going back, but I know I'll miss this place.

Ich habe einen Aufenthalt im Gräflichen Park & Resort von Montag-Mittwoch gebucht, um mit meiner Schwester eine dringend benötigte Auszeit zu genießen und in meinen Geburtstag zu feiern. Wie von vielen erwähnt, gibt es im Moment umfangreiche Bauarbeiten im Park das Auto sollte man also vor Anreise nicht waschen. Ein gut findbarer Hinweis zu den Arbeiten auf der Homepage wäre hier angebracht. Wir hatten ein Superior-Zimmer gebucht und wurden im Doktorhaus untergebracht. Das Zimmer war schön und theoretisch ruhig gelegen. Leider endete meine Nachtruhe um sechs Uhr morgens, da genau vor unserem Zimmer mehrere Bullis mit laufendem Motor standen und irgendwelche lauten Arbeiten an den Beeten und der Fassade des gegenüberliegenden Hauses stattfinden, die bis nachmittags durchgingen und häufig die Lautstärke eines Presslufthammers erreichten. Auch könnte man die Fenster nicht öffnen, da Dieselgeruch ins Zimmer wehte. Am zweiten Morgen waren "nur noch" ab halb acht die regelmäßigen Kleinbaggerdurchfahrten am Haus vorbei zu hören. Am ersten Abend hatten wir kein Essen inkludiert, es gab eine Karte, auf dem eine Suppe, eine Nachspeise und drei Gerichte wie Fisch mit Graupengemüse zur Auswahl standen. Da ich telefonisch reserviert hatte, wurde mir leider nicht mitgeteilt, dass es abends nur diese drei Gerichte im Caspers zur Auswahl gab zum Menüpreis von 45 Euro. Am zweiten Abend war das Essen deutlich besser. Ich hätte mir hier die Flexibilität gewünscht, zumindest die Speisen von dem Zimmerservicemenü als Alternative auch im Restaurant verzehren /bestellen zu können, wenn man keine Halbpension hat. Zum Positiven: die schönen Gebäude, das wunderschöne Spa und das Schwimmbecken fanden wir wunderbar. Der schöne Park lädt zum Spazieren ein. Unsere Massagen waren wunderbar und das Personal sehr freundlich. Die Zimmer sind stets sauber, Frühstück sehr vielfältig und die Bar auch eine sehr schöne Kulisse. Nur die Ruhe, wegen der ich gebucht hatte, habe ich hier definitiv nicht gefunden. Die Rezeption war freundlich, konnte oder durfte mir aber nur ein verständnisvolles Nicken als Antwort geben.
