The Monarch Hotel ★★★★
"I've been to this hotel countless times, so I'm quite familiar with it. It's a famous Bavarian spa resort with Roman-style public baths, and there are plenty of restaurants nearby. There's a Vietnamese restaurant, three Italian restaurants, and several Bavarian specialty restaurants, such as Eisvögel. Most rooms have balconies with outdoor tables and chairs, which are very comfortable to sit on when the weather is nice. The hotel also has its own outdoor and indoor swimming pools and restaurants."
Dorint Marc Aurel Spa & Golf Resort ★★★★
"Room furnishings showed some signs of wear and tear, a bit dated. Quiet location. Breakfast was excellent, with a great variety. Staff was very helpful. A large spa area, spacious swimming pool, and a nice sauna. Short walk to the thermal baths."
Apparthotel Minerva Diana Octavia ★★★
"A very nice hotel, with very friendly and helpful ladies. Thank you very much"
Hotel Centurio ★★★
"I am writing to express my significant dissatisfaction with certain aspects of my stay at Hotel Centurion, particularly concerning the misleading advertisement and subsequent handling of the swimming pool facilities. Upon booking, the hotel's prominent advertising of a swimming pool was a key factor in my decision. However, it was only upon arrival that I discovered an additional fee is required to use this amenity. This undisclosed charge is deceptive and feels like a bait-and-switch tactic, which is unacceptable for a hotel of your supposed standard. My frustration was further compounded when I purchased a full-day pool ticket. I was explicitly informed that I could enter and exit the pool area freely throughout the day. Yet, upon attempting to re-enter, I was abruptly told that I should have notified the staff of my intention to leave in advance. This crucial information was never communicated to me at the time of purchase, leading to unnecessary inconvenience and a feeling of being misled. Compounding this issue, the ticket attendant's behavior was profoundly unprofessional and disrespectful. During our discussion, which I conducted in English, she proceeded to make disparaging remarks about me in German to other customers in the queue, all while they clearly found amusement in the situation. As a non-German speaker, it was deeply insulting and humiliating to be the subject of ridicule in a language I do not understand, especially when the interaction was clearly negative. This conduct is utterly unacceptable and reflects poorly on your staff and the hotel's commitment to customer service. On a more positive note, I would like to acknowledge that the room itself was satisfactory and well-maintained. Furthermore, the service received from the reception and restaurant staff was excellent. The restaurant staff were particularly amiable, and while the food was inexpensive, its quality left much to be desired. Despite the positive aspects of the room and the reception/restaurant service, the deceptive advertising regarding the pool and the highly disrespectful conduct of the pool ticket attendant have significantly marred my experience. I trust that you will address these serious concerns promptly to prevent other guests from enduring similar frustrations. Sincerely, Christian Nielsen"
