Das Ronacher Thermal Spa Hotel

The rooms are large, comfortable, and perfect for unwinding after a day of skiing or relaxing in the spa. The wellness area is fantastic, with expansive indoor and outdoor thermal pools, numerous saunas, hammams, and a serene atmosphere. While massages are available, they are quite expensive - up to €75 for just 20 minutes. Meal service was exceptional throughout our stay. The multi-course dinners paired with a generous buffet selection offered something for every taste. We looked forward to each evening meal. The hotel ski shuttle is a huge plus - it will drop you off at any nearby ski slope and pick you up when you're done. This level of flexibility and comfort is rare and much appreciated. The afternoon snack service, which includes fresh fruit and cakes, is a lovely and delicious touch - and it’s included in the price. Unfortunately, our arrival was marred by a disappointing policy. We reached the hotel at noon and, despite rooms being available, were asked to pay a €165 fee to check in just two hours early. This felt quite unreasonable; especially as we departed at 8am on our last day and are regular guests. While it’s understandable that early check-ins at 8am should be discouraged, a more flexible approach for midday arrivals would go a long way in enhancing the guest experience. Waiting two hours in the car with a small child was not ideal. Despite the rocky start, our stay was wonderful, and we genuinely enjoyed everything the hotel had to offer. We would be happy to return in the future and hope to see a more guest-friendly check-in policy next time around.

No more than 3 stars,an old hotel that doesn t deserve more than 3 stars at a premium 5 star price.The hotel s only focus is to collect the money from everything without offering much in return.Everithing is outdated except for a few renovated rooms for which they charge extra after you ve already paid 450 eur ight.Stay away from this hotel if you don t want to pay for almost nothing

After eight years of "visit" the universe of Ronacher want to express my admiration for the constant presence and attention that the staff reserve hotel guests. Of the numerous and attractive swimming pools, steam rooms, saunas, and outdoor spaces to relax, and SPA treatments is useless to talk about it because only experience can give a measure of how high. The restaurant, with its infinite variations and inventions never ceases to amaze, and the end of the evening with its live music is just the right atmosphere to live in this unique place. To stay in the rooms I think I have visited many different in different seasons when we were in the hotel (summer, autumn, winter, spring) and have always been an excellent hospitality and comfort. The hotel is truly a "universe", but out of it the nature and the views are no less. We come back to them every year. We need their attention!

Das Ronacher is one of our summer and winter holiday destinations for many years. "Sommerfrische" summer escape, is something one have to do in July with all the hospitality approaches you get in this hotel. Exquisite kitchen, is as well one of very important things, which leeds to decision to stay in this hotel.

I have been vacationing at this hotel since I was a kid. Everything is always perfect. The personnel takes care of every single detail, everyone is kind, professional and passionate about their job. The rooms have just recently been renovated and are extremely comfortable. The SPA area has multiple pools and saunas, while the restaurant never fails to impress for the quality and variety of food, both at breakfast and dinner.

The hotel is first rate. It is in a great location, it is sparkling clean, offers fantastic food and supreme service. It is a super place to relax and unwind and we enjoyed it. But there are a few things you should be aware of, although quite acceptable by the locals we ‘merikans might not be used to. The highly advertised healing thermal water pools along with the special saunas (one of the reasons why I booked this hotel) are in a separate area to be enjoyed only by the “Nature lovers” (read nudists). For shy people like me and my wife it is off limits. The hotel is not air conditioned. This part of Austria is usually cool even in the summer but with the global warming upon us this is no longer the case. The day we arrived the outside temperature was 33.5C (93F). On our room balcony it was 32C (90F) and the room was uncomfortably warm. The outside cools down at night so sleeping with the door wide open is a must. Another problem is that the only cover on the bed is the very warm goose-down comforter. My solution was to ***** the comforter and use only the comforter cover as the cover up. And finally, the TV has nearly 150 channels but the only station in English is the French news channel.
