I have traveled in 50 countries on 5 continents, but the experience in Ritter Hotel was the worst in my life. I have booked a double bed and the hotel had just twin beds. Because I asked for a double bed, they started to become extremely aggressive. The asked me "Have you ever been in a hotel before?" Finally, because I didn't wanted to totally destroy the Valentine's weekend I accepted to take the room that they have. The manager told me "If you don't like the room that we have you should go". So I had to beg for half an hour the manager, Mrs. Ganter to they give me a room, while the room was already paid.

I spent a weekend alone here to get away from the day-to-day and rest. Lovely place with a really nice spa area. The Saunas were lovely and overall the place was orderly and neat. The friendliest people work here and anytime I needed anything or assistance with anything, they went above and beyond. The restaurant was absolutely delightful and the food was very good. The employees seem to really enjoy working here as one could feel a warm and welcoming atmosphere among them. I had a lovely time and it’s definitely on my list of places to go again should I have a chance.

Wir waren 2 Übernachtungen in dem Hotel. Die Zimmer waren groß und sauber. Das Haus an sich war ruhig. Das Frühstücksbuffet hat sehr gut (frischer Obstsalat, verschiedene Eiersalate etc. in Gläschen; also selbstgemacht); das 5 Gänge Menü am ersten Abend war einfach klasse! Die Gesichtsbehandlung war sehr gut; die Massage ebenso! Ganz besonders toll ist die angebaute Terrasse, die bestens vor Sonne schützt (wenn man möchte); dort kann man auch den tollen, selbstgebackenen Kuchen genießen. Er ist zwar nicht ganz billig, aber jeden Cent wert. Und im Urlaub will man sich auch mal was gönnen. Das Schwimmbad war ausreichend und sauber. Es gibt vor dem Wellnessbereich auch eine Teebar, an der man sich bedienen kann. Ich würde wieder dort einchecken wollen.

Personal: Vereinzelnt nettes Personal. Der rest wirkt gestresst und gibt unpassende oder schnippische Antworten. Zimmer: Wir waren zufrieden mit unserem Zimmer. Es war sehr warm im Zimmer, in der Nacht wurde es etwas zu warm, am Tag konnten wir mehrmals lüften. Sauberkeit war ausreichend. Essen: Das Essen war Durchschnitt. Nicht schlecht aber auch nicht Herausragend. Bei extrawünschen wie Pommes statt Nudel gab es schon schwirigkeiten. Wenn es Buffet gab, dann wurde betont das de Koch -＞ Ausnahmsweise ＜- für die Kinder Pommes machen würde. Diese Erwähnung „Ausnahmsaweise“ fanden wir ertwas unnötig. Auch beim Silvesteressen wurden wir am Vortag informiert das wir am Morgen das essen für die Kinder auswählen sollen, weil der Koch keine Zeit hat mitten im Silvestermenü etwas für die Kinder zu zubereiten. Im ersten Moment kam das nett und Aufmerksam rüber. Rückblickend waren unsere Kinder so oft Thema das sie sich evtl. überlegen sollte das Hotel nur für adult only auszuschreiben. Spa: Das Hotel soll bis 100 Personen bewirten können, jedoch ist der Spa Bereich etwas klein für so viele Menschen. Whirlpoolrand war an vielen Orten schwarz (keine Aahnung ob das Dreck war oder Abnutzung) war auf jedefall ecklig anzusehen. Wenn es nicht voll ist ( Pool mit 8 Personen ist voll) kann man aber gut etwas baden und sich erholen. Massage ist tip top. Check-in: War eigentlich nett, das Hotel ist sehr verwinkelt, daher wäre es super gewesen wenn man zum Zimmer begleitet worden wäre. Auf dem Weg zum Zimmer haben wird zum Glück zwei nette Angestellte getroffen die uns dann den Weg gezeigt haben. Die zweite Dame war so Aufmerksam das sie direkt nachgefragt hat ob sie das Schlafsofa für unseren Sohn richten sollte, da sie dachte er wäre für das Kinderbett schon etwas gross. Sehr toll. Allgemein: Ich würde das Hotel nicht unbedingt für junge Familien empfehlen. Da der Altersdurschnitt doch sehr hoch liegt, stösst die Anwesenheit von Kindern nicht immer auf Freude, sowohl bei den Gästen wie auch beim Personal. Wobei die Gäste noch eher freude hatten als das Personal. Also eher was für Zweisamkeit. Für uns wird es das Hotel nicht mehr werden

Nous revenons après 2 ans, nous avons passé à nouveau 4 nuits dans cet hôtel familial à la veille de la période de Noël. Tout reste d'actualité : très bon accueil, sourire, et personnel au petit soin de la clientèle malgré la barrière de la langue (c'est soit allemand, soit anglais - clientèle suisse très majoritaire). Chambre très spacieuse. Lit de 2x90 avec un matelas assez ferme. Nous avons eu droit à une grande salle de bain totalement rénovée (très lumineuse) avec douche à l'italienne. Très belle infrastructure balnéo avec piscine, transats, bain à remous, sauna, etc... Grand parking. Les repas sont soignés avec buffet un jour sur deux. Petit-déjeuner chaud-froid sucré-salé avec tout ce qu'il faut. Salle de resto agréable. Il y a de chouettes balades à faire dans le village et aux alentours. Pour l'hôtel : Chambre : 9/10 - SDB 9/10 - Lit 8/10 - Propreté 9/10 - Insonorisation 9/10 PDJ : 9/10 Dîner : 8/10 Accueil : 9/10 Les prix ont augmentés, mais la contrepartie est là. Pas de regrets. On y retournera sans doute.

Accueil bienveillant, chambre grande avec super balcon, très bon Spa et restaurant. À deux pas d'un beau parc pour se promener et de l'office de tourisme de Badenweiler. À ne pas manquer l'église catholique et la chapelle à côté et le palais du duc jusqu'en face de l'hôtel.
