Hotels in Amsterdam Airport, Badhoevedorp

I stayed for 2 nights at the Best Western – Amsterdam Airport Hotel. Positives: The shuttle bus to and from the airport was punctual and very convenient. The reception clerk was polite, professional, and made the check-in process smooth. The bed was very comfortable. The hotel is located near a bus stop, making it easy to explore the city by public transport. There’s a McDonald’s right next door for affordable late-night snacks. Negatives: I had the ”Do Not Disturb” sign on my door when I left my room around 11 a.m., but noticed it had been removed. I found it on a cleaning cart and put it back. I also informed the cleaning staff directly that I did not want my room cleaned, and they acknowledged my request. However, when I returned at 2 p.m., I discovered someone had entered the room—not to clean, but to leave a card stating it had been cleaned by “Marcus.” While nothing appeared disturbed, this disregard for my clear request felt like an invasion of privacy and was both disappointing and unnecessary. Additionally, I did not sleep well during either night of my stay. There was frequent noise from drunk guests in the hallways past midnight, and on both mornings, I was woken as early as 6:30 a.m. by loud door banging, as if someone was trying to wake up a heavy sleeper. While I understand that this is not entirely the hotel’s fault, it made the stay unpleasant and exhausting. Unfortunately, I don’t think I would choose this hotel again when transiting through Amsterdam.

Free shuttle takes you from Schipol airport to this hotel, frequency is about 30 minutes. However to get from the hotel back to the airport, the fee is 5 Euros. There is a good alternative which is to walk to Hoofdorp train station where you can get into Amsterdam Central or Sloterdijk easily. Overall great value for the price if coming directly to or from the airport.

Pros: 1. The breakfast is excellent, featuring smoked salmon, several types of cold cuts and cheeses, eggs, bread, muffins, juice, and milk. What's even better is that breakfast starts at 4 AM, which is perfect for those catching early flights. 2. It's very quiet. 3. Not far from the airport, with a shuttle bus that doesn't require a reservation. (The shuttle is located in the 'hotel shuttle bus' area outside the airport exit parking lot, specifically zones A9-13. It's easy to find and generally runs every 15 minutes during the day and every half hour late at night.) There's also a bus stop diagonally across from the hotel, making it very convenient to get to the city center. My only minor gripe is the lack of a hairdryer and kettle, but I guess most hotels in Europe are like that, so it's not really a deal-breaker.

If you want to stay near the Amsterdam Airport and look for something not expensive, this Hotel is for you:) Very friendly and good service.

A clean, modern, immaculately maintained hotel, just a 4 minute train ride away from Schiphol airport. I stay here whenever I fly to or through Amsterdam and it is perfect convenience! Sometimes the amount of clueless tourists can be a challenge, but the staff are great at dealing with them.

Good hotel, convenient location for those who need to stay for one night. The room is small, but cozy and clean. All necessary amenities are there, comfortable bed. The room is very quiet, despite the fact that the airport is nearby. You can have a good rest after the road. I recommend it.

nice location close to the airport and used the free shuttle service early in the morning. Unfortunately we haven’t slept all night because our room was so warm, we already switched hotel rooms because the airconditioning was broken. We were really dissapointed that no one asked us how our stay was during check out . We will not come back.

The hotel has a very good location just minutes away from the airport. There is also a direct bus from the hotel to the city Centre. The room is clean and the service is good

stayed in this hotel for  2 days on a group tour.  very efficient hotel staff, good buffet breakfast. being an airport hotel, not really accessible.  The rooms are big enough for 2 persons but triple sharing is not advisable considering the limited space.

Great and beautiful hotel. The one thing that I wasn’t satisfied with were the lack of amenities. The description on the page mentions most of the basic items like toothbrush/toothpaste but neither of them were for free at the hotel. Same goes for the lack of free hotel slippers that I basically expect from most hotels. Other than that nothing really to add. Would go again but with more preparation.
