Environment Location: The property has a breathtaking setting with beachfront locations, amazing pools, and rooms offering great sea views. It is often near attractions like Kawasan falls and has convenient access to places like 7 eleven within a short walk.

worst experience in the Philippines, the hotel owner was dishonest in forgetting to say that there was work in the hotel, (huge building under construction next to the pool). The rooms are dilapidated, very small, not even room to open a suitcase. The unpleasant boss, no financial compensation, not even a mango offered as compensation. finally a 4G pylon just above the rooms, industrial food and no safe in the rooms.

Had such a memorable stay at Cuestas. The entire property is meticulously maintained, extremely clean & staff are super friendly & go above & beyond to make your stay comfortable. The food is incredible. We booked canyoneering through Cuestas & had very fun professional guides, good equipment, efficient transport & zip line was well worth the added cost. So many nice touches, massage hut, umbrellas, ponchos, free water, free tea & coffee in rooms. Beachfront & an amazing pool. Definitely a highlight of our 3 weeks in the Philippines

This property is simply breathtaking! The layout is perfect! The views from the rooms are amazing! The host is very polite and friendly! We booked shooting and Canyoneering at Kawasan falls through the resort itself! Trust me you cannot miss these exhilarating experiences!! The food is also amazing at this place. There is a 7 eleven about 10mins walk from the place. Definitely recommend doing a few days here!

This is an exceptional place to stay. The setting is breathtaking, the staff are helpful, hard working and delightful to interact with. The owners were on hand, very knowledgeable and friendly. The photos of the swimming pol did not do it justice - it’s fab. The little beach is rocky but the resort will provide rock shoes - lovely for swimming at high tide and rock pooling at low tide. The food was fab - plenty of choices both local and international and so flexible in terms of meal times. I wish I were back there now to see the sunset over the sparkling sea - those views!!! Great for couples, families or friends.

Location: At Badian, Cebu, a 3.5h drive away from Cebu City. Grab does not cover outside of Cebu City. To reach there, you can liase with the resort for a private vehicle at 3k pesos per trip. Alternatively, what we did was to take the bus to Badian from Cebu North Terminal at 250 peso per person. Take note that the bus service will stop along the way for passengers to alight, please inform the staff on bus on exactly where you want to be dropped off at (We told them to drop us off at the small road leading to the resort as the bus goes through the main road beside the resort). Amenities: They have deluxe room which are air-conditioned for 2 people only. However as we were in a group of 3, the owner kindly let us use the family room and placed 3 beds for us inside. The hut contained a ceiling fan, a small rotating wall fan, but no air-con. However it was good enough for us as it gets really cold at night, but very hot in the day. They provided us with kettle, fresh water, toothpaste & toothbrush, cups and utensils (if asked). The toilet and shower were located at a separate building, and they are communal; at least they contained shampoo & shower gel to use. The resort itself had a swimming pool, a jacuzzi, massage chairs with massage services, and a restaurant that serve a wide variety of Filipino and international cuisine. The resort faces the sea so we could enjoy the sea breeze later in evening, and we could walked around the shore and chill by the pool benches beside the shore, watching the sunset. Alternatively, we also watched the sunset as we had dinner at the restaurant, which was like elevated above ground. Hospitality: The boss (who is a Caucasian) personally greeted us every morning at breakfast as he is usually at the restaurant. He also helped tourists to recommend and book fun activities like canyoneering, whale shark watching and island hopping. He also arranged private minivan transport to and fro Cebu City at 3000 proses per trip. Had a nice chat with him where he shared about how he came about to settle down in Philippines and setup a resort with the blessings of the villagers. I won’t share his life story here as you guys can ownself talk to him about it. Great hospitality! Overall: I would say it’s best for couples as they take the deluxe rooms which are more comfortable than the huts. Decent accommodations to stay for doing all the water activities in Cebu! Do note that there’s nothing outside of the resort as it’s in a village! But me and my friends loved the local life! We got to watch them having a Tik Tok dance competition show off and a volleyball match in the evenings. The villages is very happening one with many locals gathering to watch and they blast loud EDM music till 11pm.
