"The rooms at Uphill Baguio are great. There's no air conditioning, just one fan, but you can really feel Baguio's cool air, especially in the morning. The windows even fog up as if the air has ice in it. It's clean and bright everywhere, from the lobby and canteen, and especially the room where my family and I stayed. They also have complete amenities, the staff are cheerful, and of course, they offer FREE breakfast every morning. Their brewed coffee is unlimited, which you'll definitely keep coming back for, especially if you're a coffee lover like me. Thank you, Uphill Baguio, for making our trip to Baguio City to witness the Panagbenga Festival 2026 even more enjoyable and meaningful. We'll book with you again next time we visit Baguio. "I recently stayed at Inn Rocio, and it was a deeply disappointing experience. Here are the main issues I encountered: 1. Insects and Mosquitoes: There were insects and mosquitoes inside the room because the windows were left open. 2. Lack of Air Conditioning: The rooms only have electric fans, no air conditioning, which made it quite uncomfortable. 3. Foul Odor in the Toilet: The toilet had a persistent stench, likely from the septic tank. 4. Inconvenient Room Location: My room was in the basement, which is difficult for travelers with bags. 5. No Bottled Water in Room: There was no bottled water provided in the room. You have to go to the second floor to get water. 6. Aged Room and Substandard Foam: The room was aged, and the foam on the bed was not up to standard. 7. Difficult Location: The hotel is located on a steep cliff, requiring a five-minute uphill and downhill walk to hail a taxi, with no assistance from the management. 8. Inconsistent Check-In/Out Times: Check-in is at 2 PM, but check-out is at 11:30 AM, which does not align with the published times online. 9. Awful Breakfast: The breakfast was terrible, with servings fit for children and coffee that was weak and barely colored black. 10. Nonchalant staff: Front desk doesn’t mind the discomfort of guests, no telephone around to contact them if you need anything. This place is full of inconveniences, yet they price their rooms very high (2000-ish). In my opinion, the price should be reevaluated and should fit only a 700 price point. I will never return and will certainly inform my friends about my discomfort."

"Showerheads are faulty. Hot shower's not working. The airconditioning unit is not cooling enough. Toilet does not stop flushing. Phones are not working. You can only hear the reception talking but they're unable to hear you so you need to go to the lobby to relay the concerns. When I went down at the desk and let them know this concern, the girl at the reception say that they cannot do anything about it and they cannot transfer us to another room because they are fully booked. The maintainance staff also told us that they cannot fix it right away. Unfortunately there's no manager around to address the issue. AThe next day, I spoke with ****, the manager on duty. She cannot do anything about it and also is saying that we cannot get any compensations with the hassle that we got. She even told us "...Sana Sir hindi na po kayo tumuloy". What do you mean by this? She's implying that we cancel our reservation and do a last-minute reservation somewhere else. She's trained to just say sorry and not address the issue. She even called the agent who checked us in and asked her to decide for her! How incompetent. The only resolution that she did was "Kakausapin ko po yung staff para maayos po yung concern para sa susunod na visit niyo okay po lahat." What makes you think na we will book this property again? We booked for four rooms, two of which are from trip and the other two were a direct reservation, and all of those have room concerns. We will never come back to this property. The only nice thing that we got from the property was the breakfast. Nothing else."
