Hotel Bahía Bayona
"We stayed here the first night of our Camino. You can walk directly from the hotel onto the beach behind it, and from there you can swim in the bay. The cool water felt amazing on tired legs. This hotel appeared to be a step up from other properties nearby. We had the wider size twin beds in our twin share room and the rooms have enough space to spread out a bit. Our room had a small balcony which was a nice touch. Furnishings are a bit dated and worn, but the breakfast was fantastic and the hotel had a lovely level of service."

Hotel Vasco Da Gama
"This place is a treasure and such a great/lucky find for us. We had no recommendations and didn’t know what we were going to but this was our favourite place to stay so far on our Camino journey. It was really clean and spacious, warm and hospitable! The owner is so accommodating and friendly and the breakfast was perfect for the day of walking ahead. I would recommend this place to any pilgrim that wants a comfortable homely stay. There’s also lovely places for food/drink on the road right by it and we had a great conversation with a family in the bar just up the road. Such a friendly and restful town that only adds to the excellent experience of our stay here!! Thank you so much for having us!!"

"Extremely clean and organized accommodation. Impeccably clean rooms. Patrícia and Ângelo are attentive and helpful hosts, always available. The location of the accommodation is equally charming. Situated amidst a stunning landscape, I was able to enjoy the incredible views outside. I recommend!"
Hotel H4 Cangas 3 Superior
"Nice and clean room , the hotel has a nice restaurant and pool too"
Talaso Atlántico
"As Marinas is a good overnight stop for the coastal route of the Camino Portugues to shorten the days' hikes from A Guarda and/or to Vigo. The hotel/spa is >15 minutes walk along the coast from where the Camino turns inland towards the Alto and well priced for the quality. My room was a good size with 3/4 size twin beds, a sofa, desk and office chair. There was also a mini fridge that contained only a couple of bottles of water. The bathroom was reasonably spacious with a large walk in shower. I had one of the cheaper rooms at the side of the building that did not include a sea view but the sea was actually quite visible from the balcony. The room and the whole building was very quiet. The hotel includes a formal restaurant that didn't start serving dinner until 9.00pm which was a non-starter with a full day's walking the next day. However, there was also a cafe and bar that had a wonderful sea view terrace with indoor and outdoor seating and a good light menu. My tariff included breakfast which was a substantial buffet also served in the cafe. My only complaint about breakfast was lack of real coffee with the only version available coming from a Nescafe machine. Unfortunately the spa had no appointments left for that day in spite of it being a weekday in May. I had hoped to have a few kinks massaged out of my tired body but that was not to be. Talaso Atlantico is a good option to break up the long walks of the coastal Camino Portugues or just for a few pampering and relaxation."
Quinta do Caminho, Al
"The location is convenient on the pilgrimage, but the service attitude is very general, even some disgusting work attitude, rush to close the work, the room hygiene is not very good, there is hair found in the cup, the senses are very poor!"
Hotel A Raiña
"The hosts were fabulous, the rooms comfortable and nicely furnished with modern bathrooms. Dinner in their restaurant was reasonably priced and fresh. Breakfast omelette was delicious. Upon arrival we sat out on the back deck overlooking the ocean enjoying a drink and nibbles. It was very relaxing. Couldn’t have asked for better service in a very small village."
B&B HOTEL Vigo
"The location is super convenient for travelers. Only couple of minutes to walk to Bus terminal/ Train station. There is a big shopping mall which connected to train station. Hotel staff was friendly and room was spacious and clean. The bed was comfortable. I would definitely stay here again in the future."
