We often stop in Baise for a night, and this hotel is super convenient with the Wanjingcheng Night Market right downstairs, and the Science Museum also nearby. The hotel honestly feels on par with a 4-star in terms of its grand lobby, excellent service, comfortable rooms, laundry facilities (washer and dryer), and a fantastic breakfast. Plus, there's free parking 🅿️ (both above ground and underground). The breakfast especially stood out – incredibly rich and much better than what you typically find at standard chain hotels. The bed was so comfortable, I didn't want to get up in the morning! 😂 Overall, the experience was great. For less than 300 RMB a night, it's definitely a five-star rating from me."

However, as a guest who seeks perfection, I also want to frankly share some suggestions for improvement, hoping to help this hidden gem of a guesthouse reach new heights: **Highlight Experiences** * **View and Space:** The 90° panoramic lake view rooms live up to their reputation! The 50㎡ space is airy and grand, with a 2-meter king bed and floor-to-ceiling lake-view windows. Being woken by the sunlight and lake ripples in the morning is an unparalleled experience. * **Warm Service:** The butler was attentive throughout, from transfers to travel recommendations, showing great care and enthusiasm. Requests were accommodated wherever possible. **Details for Improvement** 1. **Safety and Flow:** The bathroom area and bathtub in the room are elevated, creating a two-step drop that's easy to trip over at night (especially for those on their phones). I suggest adding non-slip strips or sensor lights. After all, if an accident occurs and a guest seeks recourse, it's the guesthouse owner who suffers. 2. **Space Planning:** While the open-plan bathroom offers a sense of spaciousness, self-built pipes inevitably have odors (my sensitive nose detected a slight backflow). I recommend enhancing ventilation or installing a physical partition. 3. **Lighting Design:** The bedside lamp has a single brightness, making it inconvenient to find the switch at night. Adding a sensor night light or dimmable mode would be more user-friendly. 4. **Dining Upgrade:** The surrounding food street has highly similar offerings. I suggest developing a differentiated menu (e.g., local specialties combined with simple meals like sandwiches/pasta). The outdoor area could also expand dining scenarios to attract customers from other establishments. 5. **Hygiene Management:** Some rooms had issues like mops not being cleaned thoroughly and leaving odors, or beds not being made for repeat stays. "1. The room was ridiculously small. There wasn't even room to put a suitcase out, and you had to be careful to turn around. The whole experience felt suffocating and oppressive. 2. The bathroom was a disaster. The toilet was right next to the wall, so when you sat down, your legs were practically pressed against the wall; you couldn't sit up straight at all. Going to the toilet was torture. 3. The shower had no water barrier or recessed design. Water would flood the entire bathroom after a shower, and you had to clean it up yourself afterwards, which was extremely inconvenient. 4. The soundproofing was a complete disaster! The cleaning lady started banging around at 6 AM, and I could hear the doors opening and closing and people talking in the next room clearly. There was absolutely no privacy, and I couldn't get a good night's sleep. I was furious and will never come back."
