"Booked two rooms for our drive back to Guangdong from Yunnan. We often stop in Baise for a night, and this hotel is super convenient with the Wanjingcheng Night Market right downstairs, and the Science Museum also nearby. The hotel honestly feels on par with a 4-star in terms of its grand lobby, excellent service, comfortable rooms, laundry facilities (washer and dryer), and a fantastic breakfast. Plus, there's free parking 🅿️ (both above ground and underground). The breakfast especially stood out – incredibly rich and much better than what you typically find at standard chain hotels. The bed was so comfortable, I didn't want to get up in the morning! 😂 Overall, the experience was great. For less than 300 RMB a night, it's definitely a five-star rating from me."

"I’ve stayed here twice just due to the breakfast which is excellent. The rooms and bathrooms are large. Overall cleanliness is good in rooms but hallways are getting a bit worn. During this visit, I found a large insect on the wall. It was too high to squash and too late for me to want to switch rooms. It happens but gross. If here again, I will give them another try just for the breakfast."

"We travelled by rail from Kunming to Baise, then a bus to Lingzhan, and a DIDI before reaching the resort. It took us just over 5 hours. If you are coming here, it is better to skip the bus, just get a DIDI from Baise station. it cost about the same, but a lot faster. On arrival, we were disappointed that the lake facing the resort was dry. We came after the May First holidays. We were told the water was pumped out by the municipal authority to avoid flooding downstream due to the impending rainy season. The resort has a butler service and she did the rightful thing to upgrade us to a lake view room, making our stay a lot more pleasant. We are inside the scenic area, and there are water at other parts of the lake. Our butler was very passionate and helpful. She was always cheerful. Welcome drinks and cakes were excellent. However, breakfast was not consistent. Our Western for the first day was great, but on the second day, it was disappointing with tiny food portions. Not sure if the kitchen ran out of food, or another chef was preparing it. Overall, the resort is very well located, with excellent views, great service, very clean and spacious room. There are washing machines and dryers as well."

There is a night market 200 meters downstairs at night, but it is not noisy at all. I like the boiled powder of the hotel buffet breakfast, especially delicious, the soup is very fresh chicken soup."

It was quiet and cozy at night, and the laundry room was fully equipped, washing clothes quickly and effectively. Nearby 'red' historical sites are also very close, so after visiting them, you can easily head back to the food street for a late-night snack. The whole itinerary was super convenient!"

The bedding was soft and clean, and the wet/dry separation in the bathroom was excellent. There's a free parking lot with charging stations, which is great for EV owners. The front desk staff were efficient and enthusiastic during check-in. The self-service breakfast tasted good, and the laundry room and gym facilities were complete. The location is convenient, perfect for resting a night before hitting the road again. Highly recommended, I'll definitely stay here again next time I'm in Baise!"

So they could not help with any questions concerning city attractions to visit or inner city transport. The location was great, supermarket just around the corner and good resto-bars, too.
