This was the cleanest hotel we have EVER stayed in! This hotel was perfect -- easy check in, wonderfully quiet room on the 4th floor, delicious breakfast. The bathroom has a lighted makeup mirror, excellent shower and bathroom, perfect layout of the kingsize room. All around perfect! Parking is free in a gated lot, which is attached. I cannot give the hotel enough stars. Employees were friendly and helpful.

Brand new clean Hampton Inn centrally located with easy access to downtown Bakersfield, adjacent malls. Area is industrial and safe. You can walk to nearby chain restaurants. Super friendly staff and great breakfast. Rooms large and comfortable. Great walk-in shower.

Brand new hotel located close to freeway. Typical Hampton rooms and breakfast. Nice pool area and gym. We arrived late and were welcomed. The secured parking lot requires room key to get in and is normal in larger cities but a first in Bakersfield. Parking felt a little more secure than other places.

We stayed here one night on the way to Southern California. Location is very sketchy, which is why you have to park behind locked gates. Walls are very thin so you can hear everything down the hall and doors slam making it hard to sleep. Despite being a new build, air condition is loud and rattles all night. Strong smell in the room. Breakfast wasn’t good. Agent at the front desk in the morning was rude and unhelpful. Would not stay here again.
